No less than the girls of K-ON! themselves have been drafted in as official models for a new collaboration between K-ON! and popular fashion brand “earth music&ecology.”
The collaboration will see a line of 22 products themed on Houkago Teatime, with the ensemble visible on their official tumblr:
Although it is possible to imagine several possible uses the creepy otaku demographic could put the line to even without the availability of XXL sizes, it is probably the show’s oft-noted popularity amongst young women which is seen as the main sales driver.

The clothes all looked kinda-ugly.
That's 'cause yer not a girl, or maybe the clothes are ugly.
What if you dont ware clothes at all.
Then, you are naked.
no, he is then what i do, wearing reallife clothes (meaning that the anime clothes are irrelevant and independant from the clothes the body vessel later on wears).
it also from the meaning of "real life"... seems to be an outdated version of the life outside 2 D, was a derogotary term used in the west, i think....
when the nerds went into reallife they had to forget about world of warcraft... cant think about your damage values and your unbearable crit ratio's during exams...or similar important stuff.
I am a girl and these are.... not very co-ordinated. Last image screams bag lady.
Bg-lady fashion is 'in' since few years in Japan, google Dolly Kei or Mori Girl.
First image looked slightly okay, but the sweater just ruined the whole stockings and short pants image. It overshadowed the outfit.
Second one looked corny as hell. And the entire outfit in general is over-sized (a trait that is shared by all of the clothing)
The third one is simply the color scheme. It's just not something that would compliment a young lady.
Fourth image looked like a try-hard version of the Little red riding hood but just like the first one, the red sweater is too over powering.
Last one just looked like a cosplay for your standard hobo/hipster.
Yes, I'm not a girl, but when a guy is able to identify that these clothes are just ugly, then you know that it's fail material.
Yeah, no. That's your own opinion. Not saying it isn't valid but some people might think otherwise.
Also, the outfits aren't "oversized", they're loose-fitting. That is to enable girls without well proportioned bodies to wear those outfits and not look terribad.
see also, you misstake me for a hip hopper fashion wearer? do you not know how to ADRESS your costumer.............?
Someone just doesn't understand the greatness of Japanese fashion.
I'm fucking tired of seeing nothing but jeans or leggings in North America.
That's not fashionable. It's casual style in pringtime in Paris...
Not original at all. :/
I dunno, I've seen Korean girls sporting a similar fashion all over my University and it's a pretty damn cute thing.
Yui's NG.
Terrific... bring it on ! New lame ways to destroy our beloved animes/mangas characters !
If this is what it takes to fund the third season of K-On! where Azu-nyan, Ui, and Jun finally discover their forbidden love for each other, then we'll just have to put up with it.
Excuse me, I have another fanfic to write.
What are you saying? I't clear as day Azunyan fell in love at first sight with Mio-senpai...
They all love Mio. In a big pile of squirming naked schoolgirls, their tongues and fingers explore every moist crevice and every sensitive spot of Mio's sweet form, as she moans and writhes in ecstasy. Yui and Azunyan's fingers flicker in arpeggios of stimulation -- "Hey Ritsu, where are you sticking those drumsticks?"
K-On? More like 'Cum On' if you know what I mean.
Yes, of course Azu-nyan fell head over heels for Mio-senpai. Who wouldn't? But alas, Mio was already Ritzu's, so poor Azu-nyan finds comfort in the open and soft arms of Ui and Jun.
Subplot: Yui discovers the torrid affair, and just as Ui once pretended to be Yui, Yui now pretends to be Ui to finally obtain a bit of Azu-love.
nope, she leaves it all behind with an amnesia shit fap and stands 10 minutes later, in front of you, not knowing what love is.... the status which was existent before a certain movie aired.
as she felt that the business of love is not equally supported around the world, the meaning of love in the internet became invalid
It's keeping K-on! in the collective consciousness. We don't want people to forget about it - if they do, we'll never have season three.
You want to see them destroyed? Go read Reqiem 5 A Dream, Mambiki JK Sei K-ON Bu and Yui Hirasawa's THAT IS IT. You will NEVER watch K-ON lightheartedly again.
I'd wear Mugi's outfit.
Why is Japan so fucking stylish? I have to move there. Girls here look like they are going to the gym regardless of where they are.
To be honest, the fashion style is not bad for japanese domestic market. It's cute. One thing that bothers me is the quality of the materials. Ordinary cotton quality sold at premium price. You can have the same quality in uniqlo.
They look pretty cute tbh
tbh... the clothings looks ugly, bland & boring. sorry i cannot identify ANYTHING cute at all. are you kidding ?
i know why you attacked my comments, american scum.
IT IS MY DOING; AMERICAN SCUM.
I'm not into fashion, I certainly don't know much about female clothes, and it doesn't help that I'm not a girl, but I like them. I don't like the one with the red sweater as much but I think all the other ones are pretty good.
noone gives a shit about you anyway. get lost bimbo
Some of their fashions are rather cute, while the last one looks like something a homeless person would wear.
the only homeless person which would read this, therefore the only one you could harm, would not wear these crudely made pieces of crap.
yes. that homeless person WOULD be me in this case.
It's the hat it ruins the whole outfit.
those clothes are just bland things put together, as their marketing joke of brand name. the only "cute" thing about these, is the absence of trousers.
you mean sexy?
and your confusion you leave behind...... which you do not seem to care about... i guess explosions and the mine victims are like that.... expendables
its not a fuck american, its a head. you cannot blowjob this head... unless you kill it off.
but you want sex right?
i want sex too.
its the most obvious thing one would want on this website isnt it?
so why is it american only?
Not one with long twintales?
Oh well at least there's an acceptable Mugi and Ritsu.
So many of you saying these are ugly etc. are such lemmings with weak minds, I bet if they said "K-ON! Ugliest fashion in history" you would all jump to say they are the most fashionable with the cutest clothes. These outfits are very trendy and fashionable, they look much better than your typical girl these days.
No, the pattern seems to be a bit different around these parts. Cosplayers get mostly praise, models and hostesses get put down a bit.
Also, if there is a crime report with a perpetrator and a victim, most of the talking is about the former.
I'm personally content to have no opinion on these fashions either way other than noting that, yes, these all seem like clothes that "Kakifly" might have drawn on his (?) characters for scenes in the K-ON! manga set outside of school.
If I were to rank these outfits on what looks best on the characters, I'd go:
1) Azusa
2) Mio
3) Ritsu
4) Yui
5) Tsumugi (though I don't hate it, I'm just indifferent, nothing about it stands out, it's just a white and a very pale pink cardigan with a scarf)
The clothes are ok
but I dont like all those shoes
just look at Yui she is the only one thats not using those ugly boots and she looks so cute unlike the model in pic 4 that uses the same outfit
I do have to say, they matched the outfits to each of the K-ON girls perfectly - try swapping outfits between them and it just doesn't feel as 'right'.
I like Mugi's and Azu-nyan's outfits
The Azusa one looks like something Ayana would wear.
W.I.T.C.H is better.
The Yui one makes her look like a giant kindergartener, which, considering Yui's intellectual capacity, may actually be the point.
I'd wear Ritsu. ;-)
I'd definitely wear Mio's outfit. Simple yet cute.
The others are pretty horrid in real life, tbh. Yui's is okay but the sleeves being so "puffed" make it look silly. It looks like a sleeveless summer-style that they just added sleeves on to. Mugi's would be alot nicer without the blanket around her shoulders.
