Anyway - for the posters who are relating it to Free, I'll put it out there that the only resemblance is the art style (and yes, some characters will seem familiar because of appearances. That's how style works). On the flip-side, though, this style was used for several shows that I can think of before free - like Hyouka, for example. And Hyouka is definitely not what Free was xD.
Also... for the posters who seem to have fujoshiphobia... it's just a style xD Let it go, man...
All in all, the animation was good, I like the character styles and the art, I don't mind the personalities, I found his mother hilarious, and I like the main female lead - even more without glasses (although opinions may differ)... a little annoyed at the black-haired girl, but then again I'm not a tsundere kinda guy. Good anime so far, proactive lead male - Ima keep watching :)

Counting down with each episode of this show, I want to name the major moe elements this show has MISSED. I mean, we've got girls with megane, oversized sweaters, ojous, wavy hair, tiny girls, tough girls, nee-sans, nekomimi, milfs, not to mention the pseudo-yaoi subtext for the fujioshi in the audience. About the only major things I'm seeing as missing so far are twintails, shimapan, and zettai ryouki. In short, this show needs Hatsune Miku.
Well, I suppose if it had a busty, tsundere meido as well, we'd be covering all our bases.

I'm moe-lovers and story lovers. I liked almost all Kyoani shows before Free!.
But this show is just a matter of time I will drop... I can't enjoy it at all. Especially the main female and main male protagonist. The story is lame and the presentation of the story is lame too.The design is the same and mediocre.
I predict this show will fail faced with many better Anime this season like : Kill la Kill and Nagi no Asukara.
