I won't watch this. I watched the first season and it was boring and the characters mostly annoying bunch of retards. I can't think a single thing I particularly liked about it.
I played the game and, as a combination of mediocre directing and frustratingly annoying girls (at least, for many people), it really wasn't that great overall. But Refrain isn't about the girls so much as it is about the main group of friends, which mostly involve the guys. And it's the part of the game that got the most attention, so this is the thing everyone braved through the first season to get to. Considering I dropped the first season of the anime (but I've played the game), I'm most definitely going to watching this unless they really screw up. And from the first episode, it definitely looks like they not planning on messing up just yet.
Well, I certainly LIKED the individual girls' routes in the game, but Refrain was definitely the part that made the game what it is. The first anime was quite disappointing to me, but if the Refrain anime picks up even a fraction of what made the game great, then it'll be worth the watch.
Refrain is where things get real. =P
It's mostly subjective to personal preference, but it's definitely up there. The individual girls' routes were mostly meh, but Refrain was where it really got good.
Angel Beats is definitely tear-inducing at the end, however the buildup just doesn't feel quite right. There are so many loose ends left unanswered and the development feel sorta rushed. Then there's the fact that some people might need to watch the whole continuity of manga (prequel), the light novel and side notes to completely understand what's going on; something that not everyone have the leisure to do so. Little Busters so far didn't give as much impact as Angel Beat's later episodes, but still, I at least know what's going on between the characters.
Clannad struck me as overwrought and overhyped. Every scene seemed to be screaming for forced drama. I actually consider Little Busters much better in terms of relatable characterizations, minus the whatever the hell that was that happened in the Kud arc.
Angel Beats was pretty damn sweet right up until the end. Until Little Busters is over I can't really say whether it's better or worse than Angel Beats.
no. It sucks when compared to both of them. But friends told me that towards the end should be good (though they also told me it needed about 50 episodes for this game to be really goodly animated
still no plot. Wonder when will we ever see that plot that every little buster gamer told me about...... And hate how the kendo boy turned stupid too. Before that was my fav chara.
It's always there, it's just that you are still haven't picked them up yet. Personally I think JC staff is even too generous at dropping foreshadowing and clues.
And refrain isn't even started yet. We still have Kurugaya and Rin, although refrain is direct continuation from Rin.
That rage moment from Kurugaya!!! @.@
I don't care about the plot. These girls are so cute

Agreed. I went through the first 8 episodes of the first season. Just a for-fest.

Give it a try, if you have the time.
Perhaps foreigners than Chinese more rational .I am Chinese don't want to say anything
The true arc starts here
"USO DA!"
REFRAIN BUS is in motion!
Is this better than the original Little Busters ?
I watched the original Little Busters Anime and was
very disappointed.
Not good enough presentation of the story from Visual Novels.
And it gets very very boring after a while.
It's good for someone who has difficulty to sleep though ;P

Yuiko Kurugaya ARC starts now
I can't wait for the next episode...
Has this achieved Clannad levels of feels? Or at least Angel Beats level?

i agree with anon @01:06

Then travel forward in time or kill yourself.
Then you go first, TROLL!!!
Mio's favorite is raspberry sauce, not apricot.
