Really, showing the NFL crap during the first NFL game makes sense. But it also shows where MS's priorities are with the XB1, and it isn't games. For something that is supposed to be a gaming console first and foremost (no matter what rhetoric MS spouts, people will want it for games) one would expect the games to be at the forefront. Nope, the XB1 just so happens to play games like a smartphone.

That's kind of what everyone was mad about the PS4 wasnt it? They were upset that it's a "socialstation" and not a "playstation." The problem is that this social crap keeps growing, everyone and their grandma plays games like candy crush, which this site keeps spamming me about, so now the game companies think they'll make more money making these social games and media instead of with real games. They'll still have real games, just not with as much effort.
The problem I see arising with that trend is that no-one in their right mind should pay for crap like Farmville or such. I don't have anything against indiegames - but most of these social "games" are simply a moneygrabbing scheme. If noone produces "real games" anymore the game industry will probably die a slow and painfull death. In the meanwhile I'll go back to real "social games" and play more boardgames and cardgames while drinking a beer or two. Heck playing Halo 4 on splitscreen is more social then Farmville.

Well, Forza is objectively better than Gran Turismo so far and Halo looks like a good series. Can't think of anything else, though.
The Halo series just got progressively worse, Destiny looks far better. Titan Fall is on PC anyway. All you've got left is QTE Romans and Forza.

The PS2 has a great game library. One benefit of playing games on a PS2 is that there are no firmware and OS updates, you don't have to install games, and there are no patches you have to apply to the game. You just put in the disc and kacho on.
