    I gave this a series a try and ignored the fanservice but dropped it after two episodes. This series has very little plot because it is more character-driven and a I felt the most characters were uninteresting and many of the situations were too forced (sometimes absurdly forced) in order to cause some sort problem/conflit or innuendo.

    As for, if you should try, it depends on your tastes and you should decide it by yourself. Just watch one or two episodes and if don't like it, just drop it.

    I was hoping for some solid plot, wouldn't wanna miss out on a good story or fascinating characters, just because it is a subject that doesn't initially interest me.

    From what you've said, i think i'll probably pass on this series, though.

    I'm watching it with my girlfriend and I dare say it'ss pretty damn good, think of it as a reverse moeblob, the story isn't too deep, there's a bit of fan-service, but it's quite enjoyable. If you liked The Prince of Tennis, then you should be used to the type of fan-service.

    I'm not into sports anime, and I thought that's what this was going to be, but it's more of a slice of life/comedy anime. I'm really impressed with it and think it's entertaining enough to keep watching. The animation is pretty amazing, and I'm impressed with how they carried it off. It's not easy to make some of these motions believable. All in all I'd say it won't be your favorite but it's definitely enjoyable. The fanservice is easy to ignore considering that since people are swimming it only seems natural for them to be barely clothed. I have zero reaction to it and don't think it's gratuitous enough to be distracting.
