Being someone who is actually one of the cosplayers of this post, it was so hot I got heat stroke from standing out there for like an hour and a half max. This was with a lot of sun screen and drinks. Also if you're saying that it's an excuse for girls to wear less, go there and see how hot it is in 37~ heat (celsius btw). I'm impressed with the Cosplayers who managed to wear full on costumes as I had to last minute improvise due to the extreme heat. Although being half Japanese, the UK doesn't help with adjusting to such weather haha.
