“Finally!” – Senran Kagura Bursts Forth in English

Hyper bust-’em-up Senran Kagura Burst has finally been announced for an English release – after years of begging and pleading by the franchise’s international fans.
The English debut trailer:
For the uninitiated or those familiar only with its tantalising anime adaptation, the game itself is a 3D beat ’em up with heavy emphasis on busting up the opposition in as many ways as possible, where players choose from an array of well-endowed shinobi and battle swarms of enemies.
It also features provocative transformation cut scenes, realistic breast physics, and even a saucy costume gallery:
While somehow managing a “T” (tame) rating, there is still some fear that the game may not be well-received by ever-moaning western critics hostile to the anime-style art and its focus on busty maidens rather than wholesome man-on-man murder…
The game is scheduled for a fall release in North America as a download-only 3DS title, with details about a probable European release still forthcoming.

For instance, there are no talking about how great Borderland 2 include woman character, how badass is Lara Croft in recent Tomb Rider, or how great Princess Peaches is made playable in Super Mario 3D world.

You might not be aware of this subject, but Senran Kagura has very risque visual style and easily exploited features. Now as a fan of the series, it only makes me more happy to see our Japanese illiterate friends being able to comprehend the game finally, but something stinks.

Vita memcards are still expensive and the game is large. Why deny consumers the option? Better yet, why deny the game the chance to sell more?

This is coming for the 3ds which uses Normal SD card which are cheap. No word on the Vita version will come to the states. I'm pretty sure the only reason it is download only is because it doesn't have English audio. For me, I'd rather have the original voice instead.

I am mixed about this.
It being a downloadable only title will ensure the game can escape more negative press, but at the same time it also will deny the access for a person that do not have any access to internet or simply prefer physical version.
The amount of pressure from gamin website that any saucy game get right now (the shitty Polygon website and Dragon Crown review, remember?) only increase these trouble.
