This leads to insecurities and uncertainties, which is nothing but a temporary malaise until a stronger unifying force is born within our group to unite us once again.

At the same time, this is but a phase. Western culture and empowerment is far more resilient than just a phase.

In addition, we need to understand that while we are given the OPPORTUNITY to pursue rights and privileges, we are not entitled to anything other than what we achieve through power and effort. Respect and dignity are two-way streets, and are earned, not given. They are also not inalienable - they can be deprived from an individual by the virtue, or lack thereof, of their own actions.
