I'm not watching this (waiting for the reworked BDs lol), but... was this the third consecutive bathing episode/scene so far? Well, people will like it, but really 3/3 episodes with bathing? And folks complain about TLR where each ep has Rito falling on girls, or Yuno bathing at the end of each ep in Hidamari Sketch...

The difference is that in monogatari, the conversations that are happening are a little deeper. They're talking about plot stuff along with playful jokes and throwing around multi-meaninged references left and right.

If you actually watched the episode you'll know they only spend about a minute or so in the bath. Don't judge it by just a few frames. And with some shows, fan service is the theme. I don't see what the problem is.

I don't find it boring at all. Compared to Nisemonogatari, the dialogue is amazing.

To clarify, all it is, is 3 girls bathing together. And talking. You get more "yuri" from freaking K-On then this.
Tsukihi looked better with short hair, and karen looked better with longer hair...has far has bathing scenes go, the entire monogatari series was pretty awsome, and even this 1 being awsome, This season we have monogatari with scenes like this, HSDXD New also has boobs, its been a while since we had this much on Tv broadcasts.

For me, it's the characters. Imagine people like them, people who can hold and twist the conversation the ways they do. Derive the depth, frolic on hints, express pin-points in emotions.
It isn't unfathomable in real life, but it certainly would do take people with skill and intelligence.
I want to have people closer to those around, yet I don't often happen to. When I did, it hadn't been for long. I relish the illustrations, while keeping to move on. In terms of certain personality organization varieties, this anime is filled to the brim with both integrity and intensity.
People like them would be completely insufferable in reality, which is why a fantasy like this works and is popular.

I'm guessing it's just not your kind of series... It's heavy on conversation and kinda philosophical when you get down to it, even if some people will just call it shallow pretending to show more boobs. Even the battles are usually just playing time to get Araragi's point across, not to actually fight to win.
