No it's actually going to be a filler/alternate universe series. It is literally both of these things. It will continue from where the original manga left off but will take place in an alternate universe. Believe it or not, it's actually kinda interesting.
So here Hina won't die? i have a too soft heart with child-like characters to watch something where a cute little girl get a brutal death and doesn't magically return or at least becomes a cute ghost.

it's fine that they can't handle it , but unless they convince the japanese to dislike it(since they are the majority viewership) it will be here forever. Maybe it's time they moved on to another hobby.
Moe as people use today "cute girls" or just as another word for cute is part of anime and manga since Osamu Tezuka so yes, better find a new hobby.

Sometimes I also get sick of all the ecchi anime, plotless shows, romances without romance/no ending/harem end, and other shit.
But you have to think about this: Japanese people have shitty lives, be it working class or NEETs... even in terms of love and sex they "suffer", so all they can rely on is mindless 2D service. In the US or Europe people would indulge in sex affairs, do drugs or get some booze^^
Though that doesn't mean they should only produce those mindless anime, at least a couple "real" series have to be

You jelly just not enough watching anime. There ARE actually a lot of Animes directed to LADIES and Gays... ( more popularly, Bishounen Animes )
And most probably Free! is included. Let's just hope there'll be at least shounen-ai nuance in Free!. ( pretty boys liking other pretty boys ) not that I mind though :3

@23:07 - not to this extent of blatant fanservice, though... I think it's only fair that they have an anime like Free, they deserve it and now we have extra ammo to argue with if they ever try to put us down for watching our ecchi anime with lolis/oppais/yuri.
I would like to think... everyone in Japan can be happy as individuals at least if not with eachother. We're all going 2D! lol
Why MORE ecchi fanservice anime? Instead of making shows directed at boys/men or girls/ladies or gays, make one that is directed at adults in general that doesn't rely on the same old stereotypes (be it gender roles or just retarded tropes) vehiculated by all those genres.
Or a shounen anime where gays aren't portrayed as flaming, obnoxious faggots. Or a shoujo anime where a girl doesn't fall for an over idealized guy because he's being nice and sparkly to her. Dumb shit like that needs to go.

Neptunia?! Ok, seriously: Monogatari needs more Senjougahara, Ararararagi's antics are fine on their own but only the combi of those two makes the story so wonderful.
You might be upset by the fact that the first story (Nekomonogatari White) won't have Araragi at all and will only be Hanakawa, Black Hanakawa, Senjougahara, and a little bit of Hachikuji.

Oh, that's a surprise, but it's also worth to mention there will be no Senjougahara in Kizumonogatari.
No prob. There's heaps of JS Shinobu, JC Shinobu, JK Shinobu and even some Oneesama Shinobu. Enough to make you forget it until the story has ended.
Wrong. Araragi shows up in the story climax in Neko Shiro.
