After watching the first season of K-ON Tsumugi didn't leave that much of an impression on me (still 3rd place out of the 5 main girls, Yui/Ui/Ritsu, Mugi, Mio, Azusa).
A year later I rewatched the 1st season, following a 2nd season marathon. Mugi rose in my ranking to a split 1st place with Yui (both have their merits... Mugi/Yui/Ui, Azusa, Ritsu, Mio).
Gentlemen's choice? Hell yeah! Mugi is the best one of the bunch! Dose eyebrows are the greatest

the fire brigade in america only helps houses which have paid the insurance. and i CAN remember people (not in the internet) talking about how cruel it is when there are 2 houses beside each other and only 1 house has paid insurance. they would let the 2nd house in flames because of unpaid insurance even when the fire brigade is in front of the house with everything they need to quench flames.

There actually are a few places in the U.S. like that, although not very many. If the voters of an area (usually rural) refuse to enact taxes to support a fire fighting unit for their area, then that area will sometimes require those individuals who are willing to pay for fire protection to purchase a subscription.
Yes, in those very few areas, if you don't buy a subscription and your house or other property catches on fire, they won't put it out. It seems mean, yes, but if they ever put out a single fire on a non-subscribed property, then no one would subscribe anymore (because they'd think they could not pay and still get their fires fought for free).
Although a 2D character, Mugi is the distillation of all that is right and good and just in this world.
