Despite the massacre of the TV broadcast by censors, To Love-Ru Darkness is now completely reborn on Blu-ray with the arrival of its final volume which features more erotic content than ever for fans to drool over.
I don't understand. Why not just watch hentai? The storyline in here really can't be compelling enough to merit watching the show for the story or characters. I haven't ever seen it myself, but clearly the reason to watch it is for the ero. So why not just watch a hentai? It's not like this is the type of show you watch when others are around to begin with, might as well get some penetration.
"I would rather watch a women slowly striping herself in front of me than two people suddenly having sex with no build up. It has more arousal to it." -Some comment on here from a name I can't recall
Personally, I watch cock-tease anime in my refractory period and when other people might see it or hear it.
And then I also watch stuff like this because it has better character design and animation than most hentai, even in 2013 when hentai is supposed to be better than shit-quality.
Well, first, the art in this show is superior to many animated hentai out there. Second, the seiyuu are people who've worked in a lot of other animes, so hearing their voices in the situations depicted in this anime can be quite thrilling to some. Finally, sometimes, the fact that no actual hardcore stuff is shown can actually be more arousing.
You would be surprised to know sexual tastes outside our western reality... A complete different story, but a story that, nonetheless, has had an influence here.
Remember: the world is big. Never say "this is impossible" unless it actually is.
I don't understand why there's always someone like you who can't understand. You're not into rape hentai by any chance, are you?
Epic Baka summed it up best, in fact what he quoted sounds like something I would have said before, easily.
But to add to him, a lot of people see women/relationships in real life as more than just sex, and that's the same with anime. We can get to know these characters and love them more deeply than some random "female character who has sex with the guy". All those otaku shrines and dakimakuras are made for a reason, obviously. A lot of guys go as far as to fall in love with anime girls, how many times have you seen that happen with a hentai girl? We can get to know them then even go and find doujinshi to actually see that penetration if we really want to. Surprisingly, some guys fall in love so deeply that they hate seeing their "waifus" in hentai doujinshi.
There, I took the time to explain and help you understand. Many of us have. You better have asked that question while honestly hoping for a good answer. I suspect a lot of you people who ask just do it out of ridicule...
This anime has the best fan service I've ever seen while being really interesting at the same time, love it!! My only complaint is...NOT ENOUGH NANA-CHAN!!!
LxB didn't have a good plot to be honest. My favorite was Seikon no Qwaser. It had a fucking *plot* AND fanservice galore, albeit a bit too much of a single kind.
The phrase "Anime is..." rarely leads an accurate statement. The media format (dear normals: it's not a genre) encompasses a lot of diversity.
So it would be wrong for me to suggest TLR is a shining beacon for anime.
It would, however, be well within reason for me to say that TLR is a representative masterpiece for one of the most recognized areas of anime culture: Ecchi.
It's shallow, it's unrealistic, it's cliche, and I WOULD NOT CHANGE A DAMN THING ABOUT IT.
I would actually be worried if TLR WAS deep, realistic and original. You know something has gone terribly wrong when anime from a genre not specialized in plots gets the upper hand precisely on that aspect compared to other animes that actually try to be serious, but fail miserably at it, and I can name quite a few of those only from past 2 years.
So, yes, I agree: I would not change this anime, either.
To Love-Ru was a comedy on the first season, the second season (Motto To Love-Ru) was a comedy with a little bit "ecchi" on it, To Love-Ru Darkness ? it's a COMPLETELY PORNO AND BORING.
So, it's like the ecchi equivalent of what happened with Dragon Ball when it was followed by Dragon Ball Z then GT? lol
Well, I think it's fine. You could argue that it already had it's good run with the first season or two, but now we get an official fanservice bonus season (in the past we might have just got a bonus fanservice ova!)
lol, this show would be even better if they actually poked fun at that fact themselves... like have a friend tell him "dude... how the hell are you still alive?" XD
Delicious Momo.
lol at censoring the ice cream pop it makes the scene looks worse than it actually is
Lol but it looked genius uncensored
genius is just a 6 letter word.
Thanks, Captain Obvious.
i agree, most probably the best censored scene on ever on anime....
i thought it looked better censored
what blows my mind is the censoring on the TAIL!
i mean... come on...

Plus, seems that the main character is a eunuch.
Because the guys watching this are big masochists that like cock tease very much.

well, the first seasons were just ecchi, and I liked the story. now, there isn't much story, cause then there wouldn't be room for the ecchi.

Momo-slut inferior pussy
no Mikan nipples again :(
I swear if I lived in a house like that I'd either bang them all or just masturbate nonstop . Wouldn't even care if they caught me haha .
lol, who says he doesn't masturbate nonstop?
This anime has the best fan service I've ever seen while being really interesting at the same time, love it!! My only complaint is...NOT ENOUGH NANA-CHAN!!!
my favorite is still ladies vs butlers.
LxB didn't have a good plot to be honest. My favorite was Seikon no Qwaser. It had a fucking *plot* AND fanservice galore, albeit a bit too much of a single kind.
I still enjoyed LxB, but I prefer Kanokon over it much, much more, which is made by the same creators.
SnQ is easily another one of my favorites, as is Manyuu Hikenchou.
there wasnt enough mikan service in this season. Was dissapoint.
Tearju.. nuf said
ok! i finally see the reason why to buy blue ray now O.O
Hooray for bluray.
indeed, i might actually watch it once it's all released
needs more rape
you can't spell rape without ape
MEN. IT IS TIME TO DOWNLOAD!

ofc its a genre, a genre of animation
He said "rarely".
Uhmm...woah.
Yeah, I'd rather watch a hentai of this rather than a cheap cop out ecchi scenes with lame plot.
You know what this means friends.
The NA release is upon us.
To Love-Ru was a comedy on the first season, the second season (Motto To Love-Ru) was a comedy with a little bit "ecchi" on it, To Love-Ru Darkness ? it's a COMPLETELY PORNO AND BORING.
It's only worth for fap.

I actually felt the opposite. I thought the original To love-ru was completely vapid and boring, Lala is annoying as piss.
Regardless of how bad it is, at least Darkness is trying to maintain a functioning storyline.
SAVE AS
SAVE AS
SAVE AS
this is like the one anime I wish they made into a bloody hentai already instead of just references to a hentai xD
There's always the many, many doujinshi out there to satisfy that...
Hoping next season we get to see Mikan's nipples
How on earth can anyone stay a virgin after all of THIS!?
He faps so much after all those things happen, he has to, or he'd have massive blue balls and be hurting constantly.
lol, this show would be even better if they actually poked fun at that fact themselves... like have a friend tell him "dude... how the hell are you still alive?" XD
still waiting for Bin Bougami Ga Darkness
There is something wrong with my computer I can only see every second picture
