Yes, I think we can pretty much all agree that the cosplay is bad, but she's an attractive enough girl when she's not lathered in makeup and dressed up like a really bad doll. Also, her dye job in the doesn't help that much either considering the color is unflattering on her.
But... ignoring that...
Her other photoshoots are pretty good in my opinion, which is something considering I normally dislike everything AKB48.

The default result of anyone trying to emulate any "2D" character is this. Do not attribute the failure to the fact she tried to emulate Miku only, it could have happened with any other character. On that regard, Miku is no more special than any other character.
