So Hataraku Maou-sama is number two on top 25 dropped animes AND top 25 to keep watching? Who the hell are the idiots that keep making these rankings because they are pretty damn inaccurate.
There are at least two shows a season you can keep up to date with when frequenting sites such as this one after you've dropped the actual thing.
valvrave? ugh. funny anime though
I wanted to drop Valvrave for the horrible garbage it is, but there was always that one character that looked interesting so I kept at it just for humor's sake. Then they gave almost the entire episode 6 to her and all I could think was "why isn't this girl the main character?"
So now I am stuck watching a terrible show because 1 out of 20 characters has proven to be awesome. If I'm lucky they'll assassinate her later so I can leave the torture for dead. >_>;
The plot is hopeless garbage but there's one character I want to see.
That can be said about most shows this season, except Aku no Hana & RDG - both with are total shit.

Funny thing... in these kind of shows they almost always kill off the female characters I like.
Guilty Crown (nice girl Hare)
Code Gears (princess + orange hair)
Gundam 00 (that one girl with crew in S1, china girl)
and others I forgot (because these shows have just too many characters, underdeveloped at that lol)
The only good mecha of this season is Suisei no Gargantia

Initial D already started in 2012, I guess they only list anime that started in spring 2013. I wonder how big the audience for Initial D is in Japan. Not many people seem to care about 5th stage in the west D:

Well, the more people watch something, the more people will drop it. The most popular series will most likely also be the most dropped.
Shingeki no Kyojin is definitely up there with K-on! and Sword Art in terms of popularity but it's actually good.

Manga I've read so far is full of flashbacks and inspiring speechs and rants. It's like Lost. Buy time with character building flashbacks.
I'm in like chapter 16 or so now. I can easily see this show going into the realm of stupid and nonsensical.

This list isn't indicative on anything. Whether or not an anime is dropped here is based on genre only it seems.
Number 14 is Aku no Hana. Definitely evidence that the poll is BS.
It makes me sad to see so many garbage shows in front of Yamato. Anime really is dead!

18. Ore no Imouto 2
Um Probably because there's about 27 titles that came out this season. The other two that aren't there are the ones that no one cares about. like Sparrows Hotel and the Leviathan one
I can first-hand say that those two shows are better than Ore no Imouto.
Of course you can and right you will be. Just as those folks who advertised that "our young'un is better than your favorite writer", but didn't actually specify if it's at web design, mountain climbing or whatever else.
