Yeah, thank fucking god I dropped that after the first episode. I watched it and was astounded with the realization that I'd just wasted 10 minutes of my life as a blue-haired girl explained how to eat some fucking pastry. Seriously, fuck fuckity fuck.
The director for the first four episodes was fired iirc, after that it's fairly good for what it is, the first four... is as you say.
There is PLENTY more to see of Lucky Star. I mean it's more of the same ind of humor, but the manga goes on for a lot more volumes after what the anime covered.

April 29th, 2013. The LONG AWAITED spin-off to LUCKY STAR is FINALLY coming! Actually it has arrived. Two mini-sodes over on NicoNico have been subbed and are available at Nyaa Torrents (nyaa.eu)
Miyakawa-ke no Kūfuku [The Miyakawa Family's Hunger] is based on the Lucky Star Moe Drill game series. It centers around big sister Hinata Miyakawa and little sister Hikage Miyakawa's impoverished daily life at home (due to Hinata's wasteful habits) and Hikage's life at elementary school.
The original cast will show up occasionally in supporting roles and, UNBELIEVABLY, Aya Hirano will be returning as Konata Izumi AND Emiri Katō will be back as Kagami Hiiragi (they better have hooked up by now dammit).

I can respect some of the choices however some of them feel like they need a reboot instead of another season, but overall this wasn't that bad of a list.

One Piece's anime is completely faithful to the manga except for, like, 40 chapters.

Yeah, that one was okay for the first couple of episodes, but it really was just the same 2 jokes told over and over again.
I liked the light novels for SAO but the anime was horrible. Natsume's book of friends should be #1.
The reason why FMP is not there might be because they already given up their hope by now.
It took, what, 11 years between Slayers Try and Revolution. I waited 8 years for a fifth season of Initial D. FMP has been maybe 7-8 years since TSR so I'll give it a bit.
Don't call us hopeless just 'cause we still have a hope.
Only ones in the list I'm really interested are Spice & Wolf and Ben-to there are 4 or 5 I would see but not ask for specifically), but with the first one already finished in the original novel format it's probably the same situation as FMP, if not worse.
Also wanting to see HSD Kenichi, manga has advanced enough to keep it running for a long time. Oh, and some Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. There's never too much Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei in your life.

I hardly even remember that one but I'm sure the ending was kind of conclusive for once. And now people want to f*ck even that up? Why would it need a sequel when the manga is ending too?
The anime only covered the first 12 chapters out of 45 currently out and still ongoing with no ending that I heard of. Though a second season might be extremely weird for some people based on what happens in the manga.

For real, I loved Nyan Koi! I was looking forward to a 2nd season so bad. what gives
seriously. They even went out of their way to announce it in-show at the end of the first season. And yet, it's been how many years now? Why would they do that unless it was already in production?
I liked Nyan Koi!, and the reset ending was blah, but there are so many more series that need a sequel first.
