@1:34 - A walkie talkie? Seriously? It's a one of a kind wireless network connection to 10,000+ brains doing the complex calculation work his ability requires. He got severe brain damage from taking a bullet to the head saving Last Order, and that's your definition of a pussy? While he might be a sociopath, he most certainly isn't a pussy.

.....This constitutes 'shocking dismemberment'? Man, you Railgun fans are a bunch of fucking pantywaists. Hell, the death scene in the Tenchi Muyo movie was more visceral than that. Seriously, why are the Japanese so damn squeamish about gore? They were the ones that showed -me- what animated gore looked like from anime from the late 80s and mid 90s.

Im a railgun fan and i wasnt shocked/ I saw it coming seeing as the plot for the arc is kinda already told in the first index season o: As for the goryness of it. It was nothing compared to other stuff ive watched, played, read.

It's still going to be cool to see more of what went on before the events of Index S1. Details, interactions. And I know we get to see quite a few interesting new faces.

I don't see why the show is going this route I mean most of the watchers are people who watched the Show when it first came out and know what is, and what isn't going to happen so seeing this crap now is kinda annoying. Like knowing the ending of a book before you are even a chapter into it.

Back then this arc was shown from the perspective of the guy she loves.

So we really didn't see most what happened, just that she went after the killer and in the end asked Touma for help.

Now it´s actually following the Railgun Manga and show us Mikoto´s side of the story.

Biri biri already came to a realization in the Light Novel that she "loves" Touma.

it also shows what pushed misaka to do what she did. she couldnt stop accelerator from killing 50 sisters after she found out let alone the 9 thousand plus.

In Index you'll never see Mikoto destroying Research facilities and finally fight another Lvl 5 Esper. In index it was only hinted, when Touma found the marked map inside of her Big Teddy bear.
In Railgun we are now seeing that "process",
    Process >>>>>>>>>>> End Result

And also Railgun = Epic Esper fights

    06:15 13/05/2013 # ! Neutral (+0.2)

Well in Index though, there was Accelerator vs Dark Matter and Hamazura Shiage vs Meltdowner.
Though that's only in the novels.

On the other hand, they have to introduce the sisters at some point. They appear in almost every Railgun story and since they decided to make season 1 mostly filler, they have to introduce them now.

Railgun has no intersting plot on its own.
If they want to do something remotely entertaining, they have to do that one good plot, they took from Index.

    Not True.
Misaka's effort to shut down all science labs associated with the Sisters project was only hinted in Index, it was then developed more in Railgun

In the Daihaiseisai arc,it completely branches off from Index, only sharing the timeline.

My main reason for Railgun = More high level Esper fights.

that's the problem with the author treating railgun as just a sidestory, while writing index novel after index novel. also index turned to shit after index was saved from death by magic seal.
