Happy that Tari Tari is on the list.
I don't get the hype over Magi.
shut up moetard
Let's just say that without Morgiana Magi wouldn't be on the list at all. In fact, without Morgiana Magi wouldn't have been animated in the first place. Just like the article illustration indicates. There's really very little else to know about Magi.
A strange list anyway, like usual.
Of these I have only seen #5 and #14. Lots of catching up to do.
While Morgiana herself was great, Magi was not.
Agreed. It's a good series to enjoy but it's definetely not in the top greatest.
Sword art freaks are going to be mad about this
And I'm glad for that. SAO made me think that maybe /a/'s on to something when they say Japan has shit taste.
the manga of magi was kinda awesome the anime not so much
Is is bad if I haven't seen any of these? =|
yes, just proves you dont watch anime at all
I believe this list is backwards. Dropped the top 4 anime because they were so terrible I couldn't stand it.
Nichibros is awesome.
Na, its for gays (no offense) and pussies
Only insecure closet faggots like you would shun an anime like danshinichi. The three main dudes are obviously straight anyway.
not all anime about lots of males are, omg, gay, you know? if you actually bothered to watch it, you'd see it's full of hetero pairings.
Your comment proved that you didn't even bother to watch the show, at least the first episode of it.
N'deed!
clearly this voting was zerged by a fujoshi and/or gay group.
clearly you consider every shit with "boy" in it's name and having anything to do with male characters gay and fujoshi.
its ironic because if it were voted by fujoshi it would still be a better list than this one.
No Mysterious Girlfriend X makes me =/
It was a shitty show based on a manga that lost it's shit years ago. I'm utterly unsurprised it didn't make the list.
Whoa, settle down.
It was great, people just couldn't get over the drool thing, but shows these days don't follow a simple couple in love, they have to add more drama or the guy is all "i secretly like her but im not going to tell her." or a harem love triangle, i wished more shows had what Mysterious Girlfriend X had.
it was at number 39
great news!
Are any of these shows listed of the action animé variety with Male protagonists? I am in the mood for some manimé!
this list is in need of some SERIOUS repair.
That's easy, it just needs a big red label "FUJOSHIS ONLY"
Jojo > all anime in this list
As much as I enjoyed the top ones, that was all I did...enjoy them. They weren't spectacular, the only one deserving of a top5 mention is Nichibros because it was the first anime to make me genuinely burst out laughing. In all honesty, 2012 wasn't that great of a year. A few starts but nothing worth celebrating.
can't believe a shitty anime like Kuroko’s Basketball is before SAO... Or that Ixion Saga is even on this list...
I don't even watch Kuroko's Basketball, but after all the threats from that wannabe terrorist, getting events cancelled etc, I'm glad to see it so high if just to annoy the loser calling the threats in.
As if SAO was that great... lol
see, that's happen when a mainstream minded guys has his fave title put lower than other mainstream title or even other title that he doesn't know.
if you can say that other anime is shitty, then its legit for other to say SAO is shitty too.
I blame fujoshi vote stacking.
Even Kuroko is better than the shit sack known as SOA.
WTF!!! NO PSYCHO-PASS!!!!!!!!!!
am i the only one who's pissed about this
it seems u forget that officially, psycho pass is part of the 2013 line up, not the 2012 line up
No Shinsekai Yori? This list is bullshit.
It was good, but you had to actually watch it in order to realize that. Alot of people dropped it after the first 2 eps. I almost did too
What fucking pit of retarded stupidity did this shit list of fail get pulled out of. I can't even start to express my contempt for this ranking of suck. I don't disagree with this list, I want to burn this list in the white hot fire of my contempt. Die, you makers of this list, you SUCK.
Also, I find the rankings on this list quite erroneous.
Shinsekai Yori didn't even make the list? *sigh*
Of course it didn't, it was literally just twenty something episodes of sadness for both super powered humans and monsters.
lmao it was pretty good though.
Did you watch it on drugs or something? Shinsekai was told in a very optimistic tone considering the grimdark setting and premise. If anything, it's a very even headed and believable story.
maybe its the believeable story... why SSY has dropped that deep.
how old do you think i am? ^^
300!
4000!
50000!
lol wut ! i am allready a dinosaur! 2 million!! roflmao!!!1111
homohpfic fags at play, but those moetard panssies still like somehting as lame and nichibros.}
UChuu Kyoudai and Shinsekay yori take the number 1 and number 2 best series of 2012, with Jojo being third, and Kuroko 4th.
Sword art online should have been number 1 in my opinion
How 'bout no?
since when do you have a say in my opinion, how bout you shut the fuck up
WHAT THE FUCK IS WITH THIS BULLSHIT?
BE SURE TO DOWN VOTE THIS.....
WHATS WITH THIS VOTING....
SANKAKU IS RIGGED...!
LOL
triti
Everyone here has a veto to everyone else's opinion.
Since humans discovered that disagreeing with someone is not "having a say in their opinion".
See what you did? You made him cry.
see what you did? you got yourself some negs. dont block the bullet man
I enjoyed the first part, then the fruity fairy thing turned me away, but the ending was good. All in all, it seemed rushed. They should have spread it out more, everyone will forget about it at the end of this year.
I most certainly will not. That was a spectacularly assembled show. I'm not sure what aspect felt rushed, but I loved every minute of it. Most people who say things were rushed watched all in one sitting from what I see. I take breaks for a day every 3 to 4 episodes to let what I'd seen sink in, therefore it often takes me a good week to finish a 24-episode series, and it becomes memorable and felt like it covered a long time. It really does work.
Introducing a character, and then have them leave or die within the same or following episode, and not really having any background for said character, is rushed, and doesnt do very well to evoke emotion. I dont know if it was like this in the manga, but skipping whole years is rushed. The way i watch a show should have no bearing on wrether it feels rushed or not, but i was watching while it was being aired, so about 1 episode a week.
@ Anon 18:05
I felt quite a bit of emotion in that episode. If you didn't feel the complete and unbelievable reality that if they died in their game, then they died for real and could never ever see one another again, and they had to watch that happen in front of them, then quite frankly you lack the perception to put yourself in that world. These were all young children facing their mortality wrapped in a coil of false playtime. If you yourself are a young child or in your teens, then you probably can't fathom your own mortality yet. You had to see it from the perspective of someone who understood where they were coming from.
If you had any inkling of what it's like to live your life in fear every day where if you make the wrong move you cause yourself pain, you wouldn't be speaking about it the way you are. They generated that perception very well, and you are exaggerating, they never skipped whole years, they skipped chunks of months here and there. It's a very realistic assessment of an online game, and life in general. Everything becomes routine after a certain amount of time, and it's very believable that it would take many months to master an MMO. While I too would like some of the intermittent details covered more, simply because I loved the world, in reality much of it wasn't necessary for the narrative to be told effectively.
After a certain length of time, the show was no longer about the game, but the concept of the game. It's why it could seamlessly flow into the other section of the story without being much trouble. People who didn't like that section confuse me, because it added a new dynamic to the story the likes of which the first arc couldn't pull off without really losing any momentum, at least for me.
Man, Houselife you never write in one sentence do you? lol
Yep, They have done this story line many times before.
But SAO did a really good job with it.
Gets 2 triti paws up.
Triti
IT felt rushed simply because they took out bit (or even big chunks) of the original story here and there and that messed up the pacing. When you should see a character suffering in what seemed an eternity, the anime just made them clench their theeth and so on.
It wasn't bad, but certainly even in a day when I feel lenient, it wouldn't get more than a 7/10. And when the novels can go up to even an 8,5/10 that's a shame
OMG SAO BEST ANIMU IN UNIVERSE KIRITO SO COOL I LOVE HIM
Your opinion is stupid and wrong.
You have shit taste.
Your favorite anime are all shit.
