If that were TRULY the case, then Rie Kugimiya would not be on this list. Her voice is ear piercing but we all love it for unknown reasons.
Hence why it's on the list you fuck. Her voice is wonderful.
I think the best works of Kugimiya are the ones as Haruka from Yakuza and Mizore from Rosario Vampire. I think she is a great seiyuu.
I completely disagree. Kugimiya has a high pitched voice, yes, but it's not unpleasant to the ear. When she doesn't play a tsundere, she can even sound sultry.
Ahem, but high-pitched voices rock! Kugimiya Rie's voice is sexy at any time.
Though, the lack of Wakamoto is quite puzzling. Either they decided he's in his own tier, or they're retarded, 'cause I know people who fapped to Wakamoto's voice for real.

Preach it! Really, there are some good others, but they pale in contrast to Hayashibara, either for voice acting or music.
At least she's listed on another (more prestigious?) list on this site, "Top 10 Seiyuu of Legend," which makes a point of mentioning "devotees howling about the omission of Rie Kugimiya or similar..."

Absolutely love to see Mamiko Noto and Yui Horie and I have to agree on Kanae Ito but I'm disappointed for the lak of Kikuko Inoue and Aya Hisakawa.
