The near universal loathing of Aku no Hana extends even to celebrities, with no less than Shoko-tan herself – evidently positively disposed to the original manga – bashing the anime in print.

Its anime started in April, but Nakamura is just creepy now. They filmed it and then the animators drew over it, so their features are quite vivid, but Nakamura is way too ugly now.
I thought a 2D title about a cute girl who is actually a total sadist would succeed, but I was shocked at the reality of the anime.
The show looks likely to go down in history as Japan’s first rotoscoped TV anime – but for all the wrong reasons:

Whats really messed up, is the girl playing Nakamura isn't that bad looking, yet the character ends up ugly as hell.
Uncanny Valley makes this shit super creepy but the actors look very decent, I just wonder how much better this would've been if they have kept it as a live action drama.
If they weren't literally tracing the live footage they could have made a few adjustments to make the "rotoscoped" versions look slightly different from the live footage. It just emphasizes how lazy the whole thing is.
What uncanny valley? This has nothing to do with uncanny valley, it's just the rotoscoping is shit. If they were to put more detail in the characters like adding more shadows and colors they wouldn't look so bad, it's just their faces look disproportionate because you can hardly find a reference point to compare where stuff like the eyes or mouth are supposed to be, you don't even know where their nose is.

I thought that the anime looked horrid because they rotoscoped ugly people. But now it seems the ‘originals’ are actually reasonably cute - but rotoscoped really inaccurately and badly.
Yeah, a lot of people assumed it was ugly people and said "this is what Japanese people really look like!"
Apparently many people don't have eyes, because faces in reality have more than one shade of color.

The only great thing about Aku no Hana is that it's not as bad as a certain crappy (yaoi) swimming anime.

Of course, we don't even know what's it about we can already called it yaoi. Why don't we do the same for Gundam Wing and 00? Yaoi Gundams
The character for both series are cool, by cool i mean it don't trying to be like it. So it kinda hard to see that as Yaoi material.
Except if I think of Gundam Wing, I think of dudes fighting with robots and on their own suits instead of naker in a swimming pool splashing each other in the face.
So, no. I don't think I'll call Gundam Wing Yaoi, but if Gundam Wing is yaoi enough for girltards to make a million fan yaoi manga imagine what this one can do.

For three reasons:
1. The characters in those animes weren't more-than-half-naked regularly.
2. None of the directors of those animes was a dirty fujoshi.
3. None of the directors of those animes basically stated that their main priority was to wet the female viewers panties.
Every anime should just trace live footage from now on. It'll sell like hotcakes in the West! I can see the reviews now!

Not that I have particularly high expectations of a fanservice anime, but I have to point that you are being extremely biased. You can't know if the anime is bad or not if it hasn't even been made yet.
It's a really awkward style. The story is there, as far as I can tell, but you gotta give people something pleasant to look at.
It's almost as bad as that Aliens Colonial Marines bait and switch. Almost.
The manga is perfect, with moderately beautiful art and very interesting plot. The anime is downgrade of that, with butt ugly art and with the same plot..
If the animator keep the art style of the manga, Aku No Hana will be great as the manga version are.
I bet if they had gone the traditional route, people would instead be complaining about it being too moe and they would still ignore the plot for the visuals. Then they'd find other things to complain about, like the anime changing or leaving things out compared to the manga.
Your definition of perfection amuses me. The manga is only as great as your patience for this kind of superficial depth, but at least it's not Railgun.

The creators wanted to do something different, they didn't wanted to simply recreate the manga in motion picture. They wanted it creepy and disturbing. They built it up around the literature thread, instead of fanservice.

No, Aliens: Colonial Marines sucked on so many levels. It's far, far worse. They offered worse graphics than promised in early reveals, and it was a lame game.
