KyoAni Really Announces That Anime: “Free!”

Kyoto Animation has announced the anime moeblob fans feared all along – Free!, an anime about a high school swimming club populated by muscular young men, causing mass despair amongst traditional KyoAni fans (not least those who convinced themselves it was due to be FMP) and much smugness to emanate from fujoshi quarters.
Free! is due to air this July, and features a suitably rousing trailer:

Lots of characters get killed, Chidori is abducted in front of Sousuke and there's a traitor among Tessas crew, helping in killing said crew. Also, Tessas brother turns out to be a genuine asshole.
Actually, that could be kind of interesting. I'd watch it, but I may just be odd that way? ^^;
This FMP but it stand for Full Muscle Panic sorta similar to Full Strawberry Panic....
Just read the novel. Much better story telling, much more content, and best of all it's finished. 22 volumes of light novel will keep you occupied for awhile.
