The first ep felt more like they are following the original manga "Mushibugyo" and not the reboot "Joujuu Senjin!! Mushibugyo". Which I hope it isn't the case, because the original one had a really horrible pacing.

I'm not just talking about the main character, all of them-stupid hair is not an excuse. Also this anime is awful.
Why?
I had a few issues with this the animation wasn't up to par with what it should have been. It deviated from the manga on many levels. The opening song was one of those obnoxious bad ones. Finally not EUFF TITS AS SHOWN IN THE MANGA!!!! Jk... they made Jinbei's bow stiff as hell making it obnoxious and they over used it there are some instances when he bowed when he never bowed in the manga. Next Mugai's appearance was flat out gay instead of using gay colors to flash in his poorly made entrance they should have left it as dark as it was in the manga. they also spammed such colors in the ed which just makes it redundant. FOR THE REAL FINALLY voice actor for Jinbei is, cant believe im saying this about a japanese anime, MISPLACED it doesnt fit him at all.

I absolutely agree. This anime was obnoxious on so many different levels. The art design, graphics and the voice-over for the main character was just... Painful to watch.
The anime is most likely not worth watching, but the manga on the other hand might.
Little Japanese shounen are so damn lucky that their TV shows get to be full of busty women :3
