With the hugely popular art of Naruko Hanaharu and the storytelling skill of Butch Gen, mecha anime Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet has a lot of promise to live up to – fortunately it would seem it is having no trouble in doing just that, as the 1st episode has been exceptionally well received.
The art on the girls is kinda.. well feels weird to me, guess because its diffrent than the norm? nevertheless I’ll check this out.
Gigantic, unstoppable space-dwelling insectoid-alien species?
Relativistic space travel?
Protagonist alienated among his (her) own people?
..guess noone here ever heard of GUNBUSTER before, right?

The only survivor of this series will be the squirrel; the final scene will be the squirrel floating on a tiny piece of wreckage, looking up at the sky and squeaking.
thanks for the warning… troll script
Bellows is already my waifu.
It’s neat how an artist in japan who has drawings of lolis drenched in cum can get a job being an animator on a tv series and people are looking forward to his excellent art style. If someone here in the west tried that there’d be public outcry and the series would probably be canned.
I’m not complaining about his art. It’s just funny the cultural difference.
