The precocious fashions enjoyed by Japanese schoolgirls are again attracting attention, with the “gal” ensemble of yesteryear apparently now back “in” amongst middle schoolers (“JC”) – causing some alarm amongst those who thought the nightmare was finally over.

That FAKE hat is kinda awesome.
it is a true fashion statement.
Loving the hat
FAKE hat is best hat
The FAKE hat is a knock-off.
That 'FAKE' hat really says it all.
Said exactly what I wanted to see. No need to read further.
Absolutely, a loli is supposed to be loli not dressing up as a fake old woman
First, there was a sign reading,
"You must be this tall to go on the roller-coaster."
Then, there was a sign reading,
"You must be this tall to rampage through the city."
Now, there OUGHT TO BE a sign reading,
"You must be this tall to ride the man."
JailBaits....
I don't know, it looks like a real hat to me.
It's a Real Fake Hat Damnit!!!
Really???
she wear a hat that matches her personality
i didn't know the way people dressed could be reflective of their personalities, especially in the case of little girls who are probably wearing what the designers or their mothers told them to...
you sound stupid as hell, how many friends do you have?
There ARE exceptions, but a good majority of how people dress do reflect their corresponding personality. It really depends on the person...

so yeah, there are link between dressing style and the dresser pesonality
Some can be classified, some can't. Move on with your lives.
Mothers told them to wear that? HA.
Fake hat ftw
I still prefer my hat.

Indeed. Guess I better stay away from Japan for another 10 years or so.
Probably as fake on the outside as on the inside.
Hat Alert trap inside?!
This, this is the only comment that needs to be read.
But they're still hot.
And out of your league.
is "Fake" a popular brand in Japan? It seems popular elsewhere.
Well, if gyaru/kogal fashions are back in style, Mihona Fujii should write an updated version of her GALS! manga (adapted into anime as CHOU GALS! KOTOBUKI RAN/SUPER GALS) featuring Ran Kotobuki as the most fashionable young policewoman in Shibuya. I mean, Japan is getting a new MARMALADE BOY manga, so why not a new GALS! manga as well?
the flamboyant hair is still there, but at least better than chocolate scat makeup
This isn't news. Most of the Japanese gyaru zasshi (Egg, Popteen, Ranzuki etc) have always had features and articles dedicated to JK fashion. This is because it is a youth fashion, directed towards young girls and I've seen articles like the one shown above appearing in magazines for years. They really aren't new or uncommon. I really don't get the hate directed at these girls for how they choose to dress. At the end of the day, it's just clothes.
I want to stick my dick in them
I'd hit any of these any time, you people can whine all you want about their clothes.
scary that thing called "age" and "appearances"...
I like my merchandise to come with a warning label on it.
Don't worry! We still have JS!
So why haven't the femnazis complained about this?
i'd marry one
Probably a scan from fucking Egg. What do you expect from a gyaru magazine? Gyaru will probably always be popular among SOME people, especially those who go to schools shitty enough to allow them to dress like this (dye their hair).
What's old is what's new.
You make it sound like its a bad thing.
Asians are NEVER going to stop trying to look like white people.
i pity those who had to go to the same school with the likes of them
So wtf is this?
Why would they use the abbreviation 'JC', that was exclusively coined to signal specifics about compensated dating. Not something you'd be proud of wearing a title like that.
JC = Joshi Chuugakusei = 女子中学生. It means female middle school student. You're kinda stupid, aren't you?
would plow through them all, no doubt.
I see no problem here.
Why Arty, why?!
Wouldn't this actually be "Kogal" not "Gyaru" or I should say that this style is
So if it's Kogal, then this is schoolgirls dressing up as women dressing up as schoolgirls???
To me it looks closer to kyabakura jou styles. Not that I'm complaining...
Jailbait trap perhaps
why, you'd hit that? Dude I wouldnt hit em with a stick
Hit your pigs then...probably much tastier...XD
