Holographic princess Hatsune Miku has been blessing pizzeria chain Domino’s with her support, including appearing on the delivery mopeds for Tokyo orders and providing her likeness for a rather elaborate Miku smartphone app.
The suitably cringe-inducing video, featuring no less than the boss of Domino’s:
In addition to the Mikuped, their new smartphone app also boasts a GPS Mikulocator, Miku-pizza AR interaction and Vocaloid replacement of Domino’s awful order tracking video.
Domino’s Japan is already well known for its eccentric marketing (recent promotions saw them offering discounts to patrons who received their pizza wearing a beard, Fuuka style “dasa-T,” twintails, or speaking their hometown dialect), although aside from an interminable One Piece promotion anime tie-ups have traditionally been the exclusive preserve of mega-rival Pizza Hut.

Near as I can tell, it's a Honda Gyro with some mods and vinyl wrap. You see them everywhere in Tokyo but it's a JDM only model. Check your local laws to see if you can import and register/insure one.

He is obviously having a lot of fun with it. And he is ballsy - Dominos not long ago had their ad campain in America based on, "we admit that our pizza sucked, so we will do better from now on"

OK it's all so fancy and stuff, but the most important question is: how does their pizza taste?
Personally Dominoes tastes like "pizza" and if you go inside you can watch them make it. Plus Dominoes has a garlic-butter glazed crust & they don't skimp on toppings. They do a 3 topping Large for $8 Mon-Thur
Pizza-Hut always had a cardboard taste & maybe it's how they cook it or the sauce they used but it always tastes bland.
Papa Johns has a liter crust & a VERY Sweet sauce but their toppings are average.
Little Ceasaers - $5 Pizza (you get what pay for@ $5)
Im with you, at least in my local area Dominoes is actually really really good and pizzahut is utter schoolyard crap.
Though there are other pizza places near by that are insanely good but much more expensive, so if I want to get 2 medium cheapo pizzas I get em from dominoes
