“Shaming Japan’s Olympic Bid” Porn Star Strippers Busted

Police have arrested “porn star” strippers for the crime of exposing themselves at a strip show held at a decades old Shinjuku strip club, after it was pointed out that “they will shame Japan if we get the Olympics.”

The strip club, operating in the heart of Shinjuku’s famed Kabukichou sex district, was known as “Kabukichou T.S. Music” and opened in 1985, boasting the distinction of employing actual AV performers for its shows.

Despite having been in business for over 25 years, police suddenly identified it as “especially pernicious” due to its strippers actually stripping to the point of exposing their genitals, and the fact it loaned out cameras to patrons so they could better document this phenomenon.

It also boasted annual sales of 200 million yen and “was popular with Chinese tour groups,” perhaps in part due to some of its strippers having appeared in “over 100” adult videos.

Police raided the premises and arrested the 41-year-old manager along with 10 strippers aged 24 to 39. The charges relate to indecent performances in which the women would expose their genitals to patrons, otherwise known as strip shows.

For once they did not opt to arrest patrons, as they have been known to in recent months.

Police were reportedly acting in response to anonymous claims that “their shows are amongst the nation’s most extreme, and if Tokyo hosts the Olympics it will shame Japan.”

As usual with such seemingly random crackdowns, business at the capital’s thousands of other brothels and officially sanctioned red light districts appears to be unaffected.

The disturbingly selective enforcement of the law which Japan’s police are known for – to say nothing of them picking on “harmless” strip clubs or the general lack of enthusiasm with which most Tokyo residents have greeted their city’s Olympic bid – have all been proving controversial:

“What’s wrong with these people, like we need this sort of crackdown!”

“This is way overboard considering their sales and tourism.”

“Shaming Japan indeed – and yet nowhere overseas forces mosaics on their porn!”

“Strip clubs are no good, but soap lands are OK? Tokyo is truly a city of mysteries, is it not?”

“Are there actually any strip clubs in which the girls do not show their privates?”

“Adults showing other adults their bodies – what is wrong with that! This country is becoming excessively paternalistic, no wonder marriage rates are down.”

“Overseas strip joints are totally normal so it makes no sense to crack down like this.”

“Cops are as usual quick only to do things they should not be doing in the first place.”

“Girls voluntarily stripping in a private place for money – what is wrong with this?”

“How does a person like this know how extreme things are throughout all Japan’s strip clubs…”

“You’d think they’d actually crack down on all those openly operating brothels rather than a place like this.”

“The strip clubs probably do not have to pay ‘registration’ fees to the police like the brothels.”

“Do we have to somehow mosaic people’s genitals in real life as well now for it to be legal?”

“The only people who care about the Olympics are bunch of crazy old fools now.”

“This is why I don’t want the Olympics here. The proponents ought to do something about these types, then I might support it.”

“Somebody was reselling their pics online, that might have triggered this.”

“I’d have thought the most pernicious strip clubs are those where they don’t actually show you their genitals.”

“A few strip clubs is nothing. What’s shameful is our cops getting away with coercing confessions out of innocent people, do something about that instead!”

“That we mosaic our porn is shaming the world, I think they meant.”
