Shaft has taken taken a break from magical puellae and monstrous monogatari to kick off this season with an adaptation of hikikimori imouto light novel Sasami-san@Ganbaranai – though unfortunately many viewers were left wondering what it was they had just viewed.
I just hope the people that know they don't like it stop watching it now, instead of following the whole season and then complaining about it every chance they get.
For me, I loved it. No idea what the hell happened there at the end with the chocolate world, but that aside, the brother with the briefcase over his head makes me giggle like a schoolgirl every time.
Well, I'm not sure what I think about the whole chocolate thing at the end although I think I get the gist of the characters' roles? If the whole anime will be like that chocolate stuff then I probably won't watch it - as you said, stop watching it now. I'll give it a second episode, though, since you can't always judge by the first episode. Baccano! is a good example of that.
She's the most ridiculously gorgeous hikikomori I've ever seen.
Honestly, it's bullshit, a girl that cute would never experience the pressure and anxiety of normal, real life, she would be pampered and showered with love and have no idea why someone wouldn't want to step outside of the house.
Mmm lots of cute girls hugging each other. Note taken.
Not really...there are a lot of beautiful people who still feel insecure about themselves. People pick up on that and it makes them seem awkward and a little less likable. You can be as ugly as sin, but if you're charming and well-balanced people tend to like you.
Probably the author spent months wondering how to make monogatari more absurd possible and after days without sleep did this anime.
You could say that would be a FPS in format anime, even if it has a symbolism in history has just annulled by exaggerated action and ero scenes.
In my case I will keep watching to see how far the author goes and ero scenes too :)
Bearing in mind that a lot of us haven't seen the shows featured on Sankcom, it would be nice if we could be told just a little about what the plot is. A bunch of random pictures don't convey a lot of meaning.
It's actually not that hard to understand : Sasami is a hikikomori and has haruhi-like godlevel power, that can change reality. The three sisters fight against the abnormalities she causes.
(PS : I didn't read the novel, but that's kinda obvious)
The Muvluv aliens combined with sasami was godlike.
where the fuck did you see the BETA at?
I wish I could manufacture sperm quick enough to meet this abnormal spike in fapping demand ;_;
I know that feel bro
Ditto.
picture 008, brah, it's a .gif omake, just scroll this page up. Quite funny.

It's the 2nd to last gif in the article it's obviously edited, but that's the joke...

Light beam censorship, the only thing that keeps me from watching the show entirely. How about not drawing the parts at all, or a little dot?
I want to buy all BD NOW.
Looks like Shaft is trying to out do Gainax in the mind fuck department.
Actually they've done that on numerous Occasions.
This one is rather tame.
Not to mention the craziest stuff Shaft has ever done was in co-op with Gainax
He is my Master?
... Please...
You're joking right?
Shaft is pretty reasonable.
Please construct a graph that compares anything on shaft's list with Evangelion and Fooly Cooly in terms of mindfuck.
The only other studio that I can think of at the moment that is up there, if not above it, is Studio 4°C
Katte ni Kaizou being more fucked up that FLCL in my opinion.
Don't forget the Bakemonogatari series too.
Pani Poni Dash, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and Katte ni Kaizou are all pretty fucked up.
I just hope the people that know they don't like it stop watching it now, instead of following the whole season and then complaining about it every chance they get.
Haha, I know right?

yea i know.
looks worse than monogatari nonsense.
monogatari made sense and was great, at least for me

Plot? What plot?
Shaft animes = No plot + fanservice + nonsense

*cough* nisemonogatari *cough*
*cough* nekomonogatari *cough*
*cough* Sasami-san *cough*
*cough* 'disagree' *cough*
why i got a feeling that.. this will be a trap.
seemed ok never gonna d what the brother did she can take care of that herself what a lazy bitch
Shaft's animation and art style never ceases to amaze me. Truly unique stuff.
What's so hard to understand about this? It's basically a gender swapped Haruhi with NEET Yuno, Red Sword Becky, Frog Kafuka and Aphrodite A HanaKana.
mune mune no mi, devil fruit user also here
I'm still wondering how those shower caps seen in the last pic work.
You know I like a little random in my anime every now and again. I'll check this out and see how it goes.

A box head doing the starting sequence to Hare Hare yukai? Was going to skip it but now I must see it.
Amaterasu as a hikki?
GENIUS.
Another bad anime made by shaft.
Kyoani > Shaft.
It's a fact!
Only if you are into Moeblob.
Incomprehensible? No...I thought it was fucking brilliant! This show is like a nerdy wet dream!
