Dead or Alive 5 Plus Promising “Touch ‘Em Up” Action

Even more sexy costumes and the ability to touch and generally molest opponents are amongst the enhancements planned for the PlayStation Vita instalment of the Dead or Alive franchise, Dead or Alive 5 Plus.
In addition to the expected array of sexy costumes and the ability to fight PS3 players, the Vita edition also promises the opportunity to “attack your opponent by touching them,” eliciting “various reactions depending on where you touch them” – or in other words, players finally get to molest the poor girls in the course of their fights:
Just how far the developers intend to take this will likely be revealed in the coming months – knowing Tecmo, girls having their skirts flipped will be the least of their worries…
The game is due in March.

Videogames differ from animes and mangas.
The trend with games is that things tend to escalate. If they can sell a game more by adding more stuff to do, they will do it like their lives depend on it.
For example, To Heart 2 started as a clean VN, but when it went to PC, they added at least one sex scene for each of the girls and call it the X rated version.
Never happen, even "Z" titles suffer from heavy restrictions on advertizing & store displays. And is in-part why a number of western "M" titles have failed over the last decade.

Agreed. Vita just needed a really good title to push it out, and this game is reason alone to buy it. 3DS got off to a slow start, maybe it's finally time for Vita to come to life, as well.
PSP was literally carried by 1 game: Monster Hunter. It's a huge blow for PSV that 3DS was the 1 to get a monster hunter title this time. I own both 3DS and PSV, and I would objectively say that the PSV is a much better piece of hardware except that it lacks games atm.

Well, if someone wants to play those interactive Hollywood movies the system probably sucks. And while I spontaneously bought a 3DS without a second thought because it's so cheap, I had to think about the Vita for several months before buying one. So I guess the masses are even more hesitant when it comes to the price.
I got a Vita because my stupid 3DS doesn't let me import Japanese games and I wanted Project Diva f. During it's life time I will probably get a bunch of Japanese niche titles like Senran Kagura and Mon Mon.
But really, what annoys me the most about the system is the crappy image compression Sony uses for wallpapers. It's also used in Project Diva for the loading screens, so they probably supply this shit as a default library in their SDK. Wasn't Sony boasting about the superior quality of the Vita's display? Then why use this shitty image compression on the first screen that appears when someone turns on the system? Really, that image quality... it uses ultra lowres chroma subsampling without any filtering and has massive problems with high contrast graphics. It basically looks like these Cinepak-compressed videos on 90's multimedia CD-ROMs. Basically it's a giant middle finger to people who want to use anime wallpapers.
I mean the vita does nor have a lot of games. most of the new ones are ports. hell, the 3ds has a kingdom hearts game and sony does not? really? the perfect qay to sell vita and no kingdom Hearts. no sequels to games like jack and daxter, rarchet and clank and so on.....? I really want to like this system but u cant with a high price tag with no games. I already own mk9 and mvc 3 on my xbox. why buy the same games again?
