no Megumi Hayashibara? short memory--or maybe too much ADHD meds
She is a legend and I still can't believe she didn't make the list.
Her sing in "Shaman King" OP song right? When i read the title, i thought of her too..
It is unfortunate she didn't make the list (not even in the lower ranks not listed here), but let's be honest: her last starring role in a non sequel/reboot anime was 10 years ago, and she didn't even do any singing on it.
you're forgetting mardock scramble...
She starred Slayers Revolution and Evolution-R not so much years ago.. and sang the themes like on all times.. and she sang some themes on a Evangelion album.. great themes by the way..
The problem is that She is not Mainstream anymore, but we (her fans) still remember her.. For me SHE is THE BEST... and I think she was one of the first seiyuus on sell her Image and voice as Singer... All the seiyuus of these time have to bow and thanks to her.
It's a pity thet she doesn't want to comply with the "TYPE B OTAKU", on which this ranking seems to be based... ^^
No Yui Makino is even WORSE! No Sakura-Hime? THE HELL?!?!?!
Too much moecrap! Thats what wrongs
Nah, these Seiyuu are far better singers than her...
Keep her in your memories, nostalgia-fag.
I actually stared at the list to make sure.
As somebody who still takes ADHD meds daily, that's no goddamn excuse.
If your comment is toward me, at this point I should begin to think that you belong to the group of social failures known as "Type B Otaku"... ^^
If not, discard this comment.
Because everybody in the world has your psychiology and has your response to drugs and takes the same ADHD drugs as you, amirite?
My personal favorite is Ayahi Takagaki. She's got a wonderful voice with a real variety in it.
She is also a professional opera singer, you now.

Yea...not many people really called how good Ayahi Takagaki can sing. The sample above is a poor representation, considering she performed it with "character voice" rather than her actual voice.
Should have use something like the cover song she did for Gundam Seed ending for example that show her talent:

I like the one she did for Chrome Shelled Regios
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrwPQNzOKgw
CSR was a fun show, but it kinda teetered out near the end.
CHROME SHELLED REGIOS..
COOL SHOW~!
AWESOME SONG~!
I saw her perform this live: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YU3SKCpYp6I
Yui Horie and Eri Kitamura are too low in the list -_-
aya hirano is in a positive list --> the world really is ending next week =/
Eri could be a little higher, but I'm surprised Yui is that high. Her seiyuu music is all the same stuff in the past years.
No Hayashibara Megumi? Invalid list is invalid.
Where is Noto Mamiko? Btw Ok for Tomatsu, Mizuki, Sakomoto, Hikasa but Kana Hanazawa only 23th :(
I know why isn't she on there.
Nana Mizuki's the only real singer in this list,no one comes close.
Why isn't Megumi Nakajima at the top? She is the best voice actor and singer of all times.
1 - Horie Yui
what the hell. she should be at top 5 AT LEAST. This is bullshit.
yui's characters are what drew me into anime in the first place.... ignorant masses :3
Nana should be on top
I was going to say, "Where the men at, surely there are some talented male seiyuu singers?", but the ranking page does specify that it's for female seiyuu.
tomokazu seki=win at everything
Sakamoto Maaya is #1 for me. All of her anime roles and songs have good vibes to it. I especially like Undelete from Baldr (very melodical).
Iwao Junko? I rarely hear about her, oh her song Scarlet from Ayashi no Ceres is really nice though...
Brb looking for Ayahi's song, wanna know what's good about her.
Ryougi Shiki can sing.
Iwao Junko, famous for her Tomoyo voice from Cardcaptor Sakura.
When did Sakamoto sing undelete?
Nana Mizuki not first? I declare this list invalid.
Iwao Junko, Mizuki Nana on top. I don't mind this list.
Sakamoto Maaya and Chihara Minori should be higher in my opinion.
1 - Kugimiya Rie
2 - Aya Hirano
3 - The rest
Ahaha
No
16. Aya Hirano
Not high enough!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0R9k0yl8Atk
No May'n??
May'n sings (and pretty well I might add), she doesn't dub. Sheryl was voiced by Endo Aya.
I only know tomatsu.
Hiroko Kasahara
and
Mari Iijima
anyone?
Junko Iwao, number one. I fully agree. Tomoyo Daidouji, Ceres, and, my personal favorite, Tokiko Mima: her three best singing parts.
I do wonder why Megumi Hayashibara is left off of yet another list, however.
(Or Aya Hisakawa, for that matter.)
>megumi hayashibara not on the list
>maaya sakamoto not top 3
>megumi nakajima barely in the top 15
joke list tbqh.
Kana Hanazawa should be 1st. But at least Aki Toyosaki is in the top 10.
I'm just glad that Megumi Nakajima is on the list.
Her voice is blissful <3
