It was getting there. It's not "Total NTR" as the article's title suggests, but considering that Sugou was working on the ability to manipulate people's brains (or some "mind break" power of similar ilk), it could've definitely ended like that, if not for Kayaba's ghostwatchamacallit. The problem with SAO is that despite an interesting story line in both arcs they go for lazy forced endings. "Deus Ex Machina" is not a recommendation, it is a criticism.
How Kirito can keep his hand from sliding down a few centimeters and giving that fine ass a quick stroke or two (picture 83) is one of the most unbelievable aspects of this anime. If they opted for tentacles and NTR, they could have thrown in a little incest just for the hell of it.
Here's hoping that in the final episode we find out Asuna is even more wonderful than we thought and is up for three-ways. Next season will feature "Doing My Sister Online", the first of 150 episodes.
Why couldn't the villain be at least a little bit interesting. This typical 'bad guy is insane' stuff is really boring.
