Y'know, it's not even a "ew, naked guy" thing. Unless this is unique from practically all of the other mods for most of these games, it's a simple texture swap for the body applied to an "invisible" costume file (i.e., just one of the defaults without actually showing the costume). For the males, since there are obviously extra parts, you would actually have to replace the entire model with a, ahem, fully equipped version, which is much more complicated than a simple texture swap.
Because everyone plays DOA for the guys.

It still looks somewhat pixelated on the model edges, but still some nice work put into it.
That's just aliasing. Aliasing happens in any game with no anti-aliasing applied. The model itself is not at fault.

I would love to download models ripped from more games, I've never really found a great source for that though. It's a phenomenal way to study some great technique. FFXIII's models have some of the best hair choices you can have in a real-time game engine currently and I was lucky enough to get ahold of the models to see how they did it. DOA may not have much in the way of specialized technique, but I'd still love to see how they use their polies.
