Beijing Subway “Now Almost As Bad As Tokyo”

China’s world-beating trains are catching up to Japan’s in more ways than one – subway congestion is now almost at Tokyo levels, though with passengers merely defecating in the carriages rather than sexually assaulting one another.
The Beijing subway is now so overcrowded it has borrowed the “pushers” which are so emblematic of the Tokyo commuter experience, although unfortunately not any of the elaborate manners and etiquette:

His kids will never talk to him again. He becomes homeless because he can't pay the bills. No one will hire an old man like him anymore.

you know, instead of hiring pushers, has anyone thought of hiring a train driver and putting in more trains? Unless there's already like no wait for the next train, but then why would you need pushers if there was no wait for the next train? it's time consuming and stupid.
They probably don't have enough lines to safely support additional running cars.

Why don't they just build the trains like they build the tramway in Denver Airport. Train exits on one side and fills from the other. One platform boards the train and one platform empties it.
Subway trains need to go both ways, and if you use dual platforms for both directions you would need at least 3 platforms with underpass connecting each one. Space tend to be at a premium for inner city subway stations.
When the train is packed like that I doubt you'd ever make it to the "exit" side of the train. Heck the people pushing in would just end up pushing people out who don't want out.

Not only a lot of people force to enter, there is no ventilation inside them, and is like enter to a stove...
And that without mention that sometimes the platform engine starts throwing smoke as if is on fire...

I'm living in Beijing and go to Tokyo for work once, I think Beijing Subway is worse than Tokyo...But it's much cheaper

If they'd only bother to wait for people to get off, or schedule a more workable train stop time.

Yeah poor fellow, if they just waited for all the people to get out, there'd actually be more space for people to get in. Being on schedule is useless if you only move 5-7 in and out of the wagons at a time.
