Amongst seiyuu otaku her reluctance to expose herself has already been frequently noted, although fortunately most of her fans seem to regard her apparent plumpness as yet another endearing trait – though less sympathy accrues to her noticeably active use of makeup and Photoshop, with the latest complaints alleging “she has bad skin as well”:

She’s not at all fat by any western standards, and I would hit it like the fist of an angry god if I had a chance.
But understand that in Japan, they make the supposed fitness obsession America has seem like the reverie of a fat dude. Every class has PE, portions are much smaller, and the fashion in general is much more revealing. Almost everyone here is in ridiculously good shape, and literally every woman I know between the ages of 19 and 34 have flat stomachs and amazing legs (99% have no breasts either, but you take the good with the bad unless you’re into that). Compared to a population with such a high percentile of hard bodies, having even a small cute pudge like that looks fat to Japanese folks. Not to me, though.
