Louis Vuitton’s Hatsune Miku Outrages Miku Fans

Miku fans have been outraged by fashion designer Marc Jacobs’ unflattering portrayal of Hatsune Miku in his new Louis Vuitton label costume for her, although they have so far refrained from threatening to bomb Louis Vuitton outlets.
Hatsune Miku’s new outfit, designed by Louis Vuitton for her appearance in a new opera, fittingly entitled “The End”:
The ensemble was designed by top American fashion designer Marc Jacobs, and “combines the 2013 spring and summer collection with her characteristic qualities in an original work.”
Amongst Miku’s dedicated and, it has to be said, exceedingly sensitive admirers, there is outrage that a mere fashion designer would dare to sully a virtual diva of Miku’s stature with his sordid craft:
“He doesn’t understand anything!”
“Even Louis Vuitton is trying to get in on the action now.”

not a particularly huge fan of miku.. but even i think that outfit sucks.. and the actual drawing itself.. what the hell it's lame.. seriouslu, aren't designers meant to be good at that kind of thing?
I'm no professional but I think that the dress is not that good. Miku looks like a prisoner.

A prisoner to overpriced fashion. My mom bought a Louis Vuitton bag that was over 2000$ and that was from 15 years ago, I never understand why they pay so much for something average looking. It's like it's only the brand they are paying for.

Uh...that's actually the point man... your Mom is indeed buying the BRAND. What's so expensive about LV is indeed their BRAND. Still don't get why LV so expensive? Study more about what are the requirements for a brand to be classed as "Prestigious Brand".

Being that skinny, I bet if any higher up was showing, some ribs would have to be drawn in for realism. Skinnier doesn't necessarily mean healthier when you're going down from Mikus structure. Rather, it would more likely mean anorexia. All I see in fashion models is the promotion of UN-healthy body types.

I don't care about how Miku looks. Louis Vuitton is not an animator or comic book person. He's a designer, he can only design clothes.
The point of what this designer was doing was making clothing for Miku. But even that is a pathetic attempt. I mean I looked at the pictures in Project Diva and the outfit this so called designer made and it's just a carbon copy. Okay, where is the supposed talent Louis Vuitton's supposed to have? All this does is make him look like a third rate designer who rips off clothing designs. He fails in both aspects. One he should had a real cartoonist/anime character designer draw Miku and then draw his clothing design on her. He failed in the first issue but he has no excuse failing the second. Common where your artistic sense Vuitton? Are you just a third rate huh? Third rate!
Don't be so harsh man... maybe he didn't really know about Miku's previous costumes. Besides, white and Black Square (or Light & Dark color) pattern is LV's long-known trademark. It applies to all their clothes and bags.
