Did you actually ever look at a PC/console comparison of the Crysis port? They've massively scaled down the graphics in practically every way. The console port may feature some "altered" lighting effects, but they are hardly "better", and in most cases the changes look considerably less realistic, with blown highlights and oversaturated colors attempting to oscure the lack of detail. The foliage is far more sparse and less detailed, and tons of objects are missing from the the environment or simplified. Crysis on the PC looks nearly photorealistic, while Crysis on consoles looks like its running on the old Far Cry engine. They look like totally different generations of games.
I suspect you haven't actually seen any comparisons between the two, so here's a video comparison between the 360 and PC. It's probably best to view the video at 1080p, but even at low resolution the differences should be like night and day...

I laughed at how my classmate RUSHED to me while I was eating lunch then asked me to watch the latest GTA V trailer. Him saying that PCs are bad and controllers are better, I lol'd.

Some games are just better when you use a controller. 2D side scrollers, mostly. Controllers are often better for fast-paced control schemes like Mario or fighting games, while keyboards are better for more detailed control schemes like MMOs, and especially RTS.
I bought a controller for my computer, but I only use it for old ports.

Funny when people use the "controller" argument against PC gaming...because I use an XBOX controller connected to my laptop gaming rig (full compatable with Windows of course). My laptop is connected to my HDTV via HDMI cable. It is the exact same setup as my PS3, except my laptop is smaller in profile than my gaming console, but much more powerful.
i actually prefer a mouse and keyboard for gta games but to each his own~

Also what can you expect from a console like x360 which has more than 7 years, 512 mb RAM, GPU ATI xenos with 10mb!

The PC version will be better if not in DX9 port. But while this generation of consoles is not scrapped, fans of better graphics will keep complaining until his death.
Probably this GTA will be a mix of the most popular options for older versions to please a bigger slice of players.

More space means they don't need to compromise some of the textures and details. :P
Games installed on the hard drive is a good thing. Hard drives are large these days, and reading data from an optical disc while playing a game is very old school.

It's impossible for PS3 to elaborate high definition texture in real time reading directly from disc simply because blu-ray is too slow(like your brain),so the only solution is to install everything on HD and also manage everithing from disc require a lot more memory and processing power!!!Please next time learn before instead of voting down what you can't understand!!!

I get the feeling that a big group of people just read the title and felt the need to post a comment based solely on that. While of course consoles do not match high-end PCs(and don't say even cheap ones can get it done, because you'll be spending over 700$), GTAV may be the best to date.
Now granted of course Crysis was a massive and beautifuly done game, I consider it a PC game first, but even there my 4-yo 700$ pc can only handle medium graphic settings, but at 1080res. Considering that Rockstar does a proper installment on PC, many will be seeing superior graphics on PC compared to consoles.
To end this, I will quote, "show some of the most impressive graphics of any video game to date." This does not claim it the best, the title of this article was meant to catch the reader's eye, which I believe it did quite smashingly.
I'm pretty sure GTA4 looked better on the PC than GTA5 looks in the trailer.
Textures look blurry, models are pointy(look at the apples!), shadows are blobs, resolution is 720p, and yet the consoles can only manage 30 FPS.

It's certainly better than San Andreas, but I was just playing Halo4 an hour ago, and hell, you can't compare them. Halo4's graphics are just in a completely different league.
To be honest, I didn't expect Halo4 to be this good. Bungie was never top notch with graphics, but 343 Industries made Halo4 absolute eye candy.

u cant really compare GTA gfx with Halo gfx. It's like ur comparing an apple with a tomato. GTA has to load more Object and view distance is higher, more AI elements has to be loaded and and and... this all puts more stress to ur machine cos all of this the gfx has to surfer.
1st person shooter games can focus on eyecandy gfx cos the gfx load isn't so high as in GTA
