Physical purity is a stupid thing to obsess about. It's a myth that they are tighter, and even if they were tighter, I don't want a girl I'd sleep with just once.
I like the characters who are pure of mind and heart, because that's a lasting quality. I never care about a character losing her virginity. But I get really pissed off if a character's mind or heart are darkened by events in the manga/anime. Then it's just depressing, or annoying depending on which direction the author goes.
The whole "sex makes you impure" thing is just feminist propaganda anyway. At it's core it implies that men are inherently impure, and that we somehow taint women just by having sex with them. Even sex out of love is "bad" because we men are horrible impure creatures.
