A Certain Scientific Railgun 2nd Season Announced

Railgun fans have finally received deliverance from their long wait – To Aru Kagaku no Railgun has just been announced as being due a second season.
The Index spin-off anime, already the recipient of an OVA in addition to its original run and manga, finished airing in 2010 and so has presumably stocked up plenty of the original story for adaptation, though further details of this and the airdates are still unannounced.

There isn't much manga content to adapt so I'm guessing more filler stuff. :/
In firs season they used 3 volumes of manga story to make 12 series. Now manga have 5 volumes more.
11 out of the 12 series were filler.

Index have more deep story and more complex characters development. Mikoto-Index is much more tsundere & kawai
than Mikoto-Railgun.
the only thing that really like about Railgun is Saten,

Plus it didin't have all the weird fail animation like in Index S2.
I agree, Railgun is sux, Index has a good story, the problem is J.C. Staff make a bad addaption, peoples need read Index's novel.
Railgun is amazing, sheep. They did a perfect adaptation of Railgun and Index season 1 followed the novel really closely.
Nggg... in the Novel, Index also left out of many important fights, and becomes like side character and comic relief. I think the animation follows the Light Novel quite faithfully.
