The first glimpse of Chuu-ni-byou de mo Koi ga Shitai’s upcoming TV anime has proved what moeblob fans had feared all along – it may well be the cutest thing to come from Kyoto Animation since K-ON!…
The preview:
Chuu-ni-byou de mo Koi ga Shitai (very loosely, “I’ll even date this dumb second-grader!” – “chu-ni-byo” referring to the sort of juvenile idiocy commonly seen amongst adolescents) follows the usual pattern of Type B light novels with overly long and almost untranslatable titles, being a love comedy between two adolescents, one of whom happens to sport a classic eye-patch moe accessory and harbours secret powers, perhaps.
The anime is set to air in the autumn 2012 season.

Uhhhh, how is this the "first glimpse" of this anime? There was a teaser out last week, and a much longer preview a few weeks before that.
Also, that is not what the title means at all.
ill watch it, idk how they are compareing it to K-on, witch to me had no point,it looked good and thats it there wasnt anything interesting about it. granted my intrest is all over the place with storydriven supernatural, or hightech ect being the top. watched one k-on dropped it >>

Personally speaking, I like the look of Anime girls with eyepatches.
Because it's either they have heterochromia eyes and/or special power or ability with their eye. Seriously, when has it actually been for medical purposes, that's right never.
Chihiro Shindou in ef wears an eyepatch because she lost her eye (and sustsained brain damage as well) from when she was hit by a car.

Ayanami Rei being the origin of the trope was really injured in the first time we see her like that. The other time we see her like that she was using it to pretend that she was injured in the last fight (and hide that the preview one died and the current one is another clone)

another generic harem anime, and I expected more for kyo-ani. And to those that think its not a harem just look at the opening. I dont mind moe, but harems need to die out.
Seriously KyoAni? That art style was great when used with Hyouka, but it doesn't suit this. Makes this into more of a moe crap than it already was before.
Moe blobs are cute but their becoming more generic with little substance.
