No. Anybody knows they can't remember for longer than one season. And yes, this list is totally crap as usual.
Well, I know K-ON! suck balls, every animefan should know this.
But most of these are older than one season.
Yes, it does appear to be a very schizophrenic list. I do agree with basically everything on the list, just not the order of importance. But then again, what else is new, I gave up on lists long ago.
Yes, but cowboy bebop didn't make the list, so it is incomprehensible that this list is valid and true.
I've noticed these lists are mainly filled with anime that have the type of fans that feel they need to make people aware of that anime's greatness. Kinda like religious fanatics.

Seriously give or take 4 or 5 of them most of these animes are at least 4 years old. Not really short term memory.
It's actually not short term memory, it's just that the new animes are generally better than the older ones.
How would these people even know, if they obviously haven't watched them?

"Anything by Key!" was a great show, it should be way higher on that list.
Let's see.....
Air, Kanon, Clannad (the maserpiece), Angel Beats, Little Buster, Rewrite (probably in some years later after Little Buster) cramped in one and doesn't need to fill the list.
Angel beats invalidates your argument.
Of those, only Clannad could even remotely be argued as a "must see".. and then only because of After Story.
IB4 people complain about the list because they disagree with it.

To be fair. This is a "should know" list. With K-ON's publicity, it's hard not to know.
Less about disagreement and more about having no idea why they should know these anime; because some kid who's only watched a few anime voted for them on some random list?

It's all in the language, but unless you mean some mantis-inspired rituals, the gallivanting girls are the more amicable. Not sure if it works that way in games or manga, though.

Bakemonogatari was that good, assuming you actually know Japanese. I wouldn't want to read it in subtitles considering how wordy it was, but really most of it really was something special.
But then opinions are like assholes, because everyone has one. I couldn't stand Lucky Star and would just as soon see it immediately replaced with Azumanga Daioh (which I enjoyed far more), and Index's 2nd season was so abyssmal that the very words in the title are tainted, but to each their own.
I know Japanese and it wasn't what it's cracked up to be. It ends up being pretentious, rather than just stylized in the original "moonspeak".
