@Taylor: The novels are far more interesting than anything that hack Shakespeare wrote.
I wouldn't call the anime or the novels exactly high quality entertainment but despite the gigantic quantity of ass and tits it's actually a pretty good and funny story. Not high quality but highly enjoyable and the current translated novels read very well. Plus, it's actually funny.
