The many fans of much criticised yet strangely popular sexy/sexist RPG series Hyper Dimension Neptunia are rejoicing at the news that the title is to receive an anime adaptation.
Details are as yet completely lacking, but as with seemingly everything about the franchise the response has been polarised between those overjoyed at the prospect of cute and sexy console girls and those expecting a “rubbish RPG to yield a rubbish anime.”

The concept is just fine, it's the execution that's lacking.
Seriously, Neptunia is like the shining example of bad writing. The humor is shit, the characters are shit (Neptune aside) and the setup, as well as the continuity in story arcs are all terrible.
Not to mention the gameplay is horrid, the visuals rancid, and ugh, they're in overall bad games.
