The many fans of much criticised yet strangely popular sexy/sexist RPG series Hyper Dimension Neptunia are rejoicing at the news that the title is to receive an anime adaptation.
Details are as yet completely lacking, but as with seemingly everything about the franchise the response has been polarised between those overjoyed at the prospect of cute and sexy console girls and those expecting a “rubbish RPG to yield a rubbish anime.”

Yes! And no, this isn't rubbish. It has the potential to be a successful game to TV adaptation since the games themselves are almost anime.
I'd be more for Atelier Rorona (and sequels) getting an anime, but I still will appreciate (read: fap to) this one.

I would start with the second one and if you like it try the first tho. The stories aren't connected so you wont really miss things of the story.
That because the second is better gameplay wise.
But the first is funnier in my opinion .

Nope the stories are NOT connected, if it was then according to the true end of the first game the goddesses wouldn't be able to go in HDD (transformed) state.

The concept is just fine, it's the execution that's lacking.
Seriously, Neptunia is like the shining example of bad writing. The humor is shit, the characters are shit (Neptune aside) and the setup, as well as the continuity in story arcs are all terrible.
Not to mention the gameplay is horrid, the visuals rancid, and ugh, they're in overall bad games.
