The latest preview to upcoming “4th” season of studio roulette anime Minami-ke, just announced as “Minami-ke Omatase” (“kept you waiting”), has actually secured some praise and anticipation from fans, with Feel’s work compared favourably to the legendary first season.
The preview, for the OAD accompanying the 10th volume, shares the same staff as the as upcoming (winter) TV anime and so serves as a taste of what is to come:

The first season, from ICHIGO MASHIMARO studio Daume, is still the greatest, but the third season was a major improvement over the second. The "Curry Fairy" scene was pretty much on par with the best of the first seasonl The biggest problem with the third season was the ridiculously obvious art quality gap between studio Asread's impeccable A team and their B team, which resembled hastily-drawn fan art.
Anime is in a sorry fucking state indeed if that sad, sad display was considered "amazing" by anyone at all.

Don't know why this was downvoted. I agree, the animation looks good, but since there are no specific scenes or even lines, it's kind of impossible to tell if the comedic timing is going to be good or bad.

The first season was pretty funny but I couldn't bear all the boredom and lack-of-events of the 2nd one... Especially the first episodes of 2nd season - they last 25 min but there's absolutely nothing to watch! Can anyone tell me about the 3rd season - has it become any better?

I really love this series because it's so laid back... i used to watch it every morning

The background music from the trailer basically sounds like a remix of the instrumentals from "Keikenchi Soku Jōjō↑↑" (経験値速上々↑↑), the MINAMI-KE OKAERI (3rd season) theme. I presume it's just for promo purposes and the actual OAD and/or 4th season theme won't just be a remix of the third season theme.

The 2nd was the worst because of the annoying OC they inserted into the show for drama filler that no one who reads / watches Minami-ke wants or ever asked for.
