I disagree. I find that most of these changes are great (despite being subtle differences).
While I think some of the changes are that great, most of the time I preferred the first release over the disc.

Why Mister Donuts logo is missing from BD?
Some of the changes seem to reduce the expression from the characters. Shaft did it right on TV, but it seems it wasn't enough. That doughnut has more nuts than it could hold without dropping. This is debatable if that's good or not, but on the TV version, it looks more familiar.
Ok, some of the new changes look better, but what on earth was the point of changing the decor of the restarant?
