I have to say, i was quite surprised to realize how much i like this show. It's got a very pleasant, silly humor which seems lost on so many other comedies these days. And i'm under the impression that Japanese don't really dig comedy too much. Just look at the poor sales of Nichijou, one of the best comedies of all times.
I consider Gintama the best comedy of all time, and look how massive the sales are in Japan.
Yeah, Gintama is really prety welcomed in Japan.
But I think it's a bit hard for you guys who don't live Japan to understand some jokes in it.
The only times when one might have some trouble with understanding some jokes is when Sorachi-sensei makes fun of contemporary fads in Japan that might not be very well known. And even then it's pretty easy to just look stuff up on the internet.
Gintama is a genre on its own. The "epic win" genre. As such, it's unfair to compare it to regular comedies.
Now, we have the Yanderie!
Seriously why the fuck weren't their any posts about Gintama. It was made by the same guy plus it was even funnier than this. Guess when you throw chicks in as the main character that's when everything changes.
Just another awesome episode of Binbougami Ga! For this week, Detective Conan and Jason Voorhees are the guest stars. Also, the IchikoxRanmaru ending is very beautiful.

Yandere Kugimiya is not bad at all.
Good for her. Kugimiya really does awesome tsundere, but it'd be a shame for her to get pigeonholed into a role and become a victim of her own success. I was afraid of that for awhile.
