Natsuiro kiseki was one of the best anime's of the year for me.

I was gonna watch it cause I thought it was going to be a nice slice of life anime until they started flying at the end of episode 1, then it just got dropped immediately.

Medaka Box wasn't all that bad, I honestly would have prefer it if Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka S2 was trashed more often, it was an utter disgrace to the first season and just felt like an OVA, it wasn't even like a show, just a series of antics about Ayumu getting beaten up by the female cast. The first season was utterly glorious though, so I didn't expect too much, but the final product was mediocre at best. It felt like they took the whole "ecchi comedy" aspect and pretty much made it the only aspect in the entire show that was left. Other than those two things, I agree with this list.

That's what makes people like Korezombie.

The first thing that people expect from KoreZom was the comedy, then the romance then finally the plot in the end.

I still don't know why it was only 10 episodes long. But outside it always being comedy even first season I treat it like full metal panic were first season had a over laying plot while 2nd ie fumufu(sp) was random then 3rd was back to a plot saying that I hope theres a 3rd season and it actuly accomplishes something

The "2nd" season was essentially filler material between mission.

I ignored the 2nd one and pretended it didn't happen, so I also wish for the 3rd season (instead of the 4th season)like you do.

I was one of the unfortunate people who walked into Korezombie thinking it'd be a serious show with comedy themes, and found that it was a comedy show with somewhat serious themes. Now it is just a comedy show, which is unfortunate, then again, most of the anime I like don't even make it past the Manabi line and never get a 2nd season, lol.

Yeah and Shining Heart and Medaka Box should be tied for the number 1 spot. Shining heart was boring as hell and only turned out to be an anime about cooking bread instead of being an rpg. And Medaka Box was just plain bullshit when Medaka went super sayian and it turned into a battle manga i threw this shit in the trash.

The medaka box manga is actually really good. Pity the anime didn't get to really flesh out the depth of the story and in-jokes the manga brings to bear.

Space Brothers is possibly the best anime of the year. Not one episode was bad. Being on this list is criminal. Must be because there's no mega boobs, fan serverice, lolis, mecha or extraterrestrial interdimensional magical zombie cat girls.

I think people had too high expectations from Eureka 7 AO. But didn't live upto it's full potential. Anyway, it's one of the best of Spring season. Better than most cliche shit like Accel World.

Really? REALLY? O.o I watched AO for 6 episodes and just couldn't stand it any more. It was super confusing, what was going on if it was indeed a sequel? Where was Eureka, Renton and the rest of the awesome cast from the original?

The music was really generic when all the music in the original was amazing. And then the characters just got on my nerves a bit and seemed mostly boring. There was too many kids and not enough 20-30 something hipsters and why was Nirvash a different colour. I guess people wanted to see more familiarity but it felt like a totally different anime.

So it makes sense for two episodes and than stops. Got it.

J/K, I'll give it another shot.

I agree on a lot of these points. AO does a lot of things well, and shouldn't be near the top of this list, but it doesn't live up to the original.

Eureka Seven felt fresh and original throughout most of the series, while AO tends to rely too heavily on anime clichés. It feels like an Evangelion clone much of the time, only without an emo protagonist, tragic occurrences, or much emotion at all. The aerial battles don't compare to those in the original, and feel like much less effort went into them. The same goes for the character designs, writing and music.

Overall, it feels like its geared toward a younger, less discerning crowd. I got the impression that most of the people working on it either weren't involved with production of the original, or weren't all that enthusiastic about doing a sequel. I'm still watching it though, as it can be great at times, but I'm having doubts that it will eventually meet the standards set by the original.

Yeah, E7 AO was pretty good, and just like the original is gonna take some time to build to the climax. They can't expect it to be amazing every episode like Gurren Lagann.

Anyway, one thing I'm wondering is why Nazo no Kanojo X/Mysterious Girlfriend X isn't in the top 25. I liked it but I'd figure most people wouldn't, or didn't even notice it.
