Not since Madoka has an anime gone through so many “heroines” in so short a span, but this has hardly stopped MMORPG anime Sword Art Online’s crushing preponderance of plot-heavy action continuing to delight fans, whilst more service-minded fans have been noting the profusion of flatteringly low-angle shots of female characters the episode brings…

Unimportant side character. Value to series = 0.
Cute girl = value.
Ugly orge guy = erasable.
She was a bit on the emotionally unstable (ie. F'ing nutjob) side anyways.
She could possibly make the next top 10 tragic heroines list so you never know
The series is getting more and more predictable
she's not dead yo, all part of keikaku.
At least use a spoiler warning, man...
This anime is has way too many side characters. Seems like a cheap method to length a series past. tsk..tsk..Starting to become worse and worse!!
Dat ass
it looks delicious
I almost fell out of my seat laughing when that scene came on
and dat droll
FUCK I'm currently reading that side story in Volume 8 and wasn't completely done yet. ARGHHH.
lol i stopped watching midway through the episode to finish reading it, but the episode didn't finish the story anyways u.u
me too actually...
"Not since Madoka has an anime gone through so many “heroines” in so short a span"
higurashi= all dead ep 2.
ga rei zero, the whole "heroes and heroines" die in the first ep.
another has the same rate.
just to name a few that pop to my mind.
In Angel Beats they are all already dead at the start
I LOVE THAT ANIME...
yeah... how can I forget that..
"Not since" would imply that whatever you're referring to would have to come AFTER it.
so, it's the first anime to do it this year? Very shocking, eh?
forgot to mention total eclipse where 5 "heroines" died in the second episode,so no, not really.
You're wrong about higurashi, they actually die in the beginning of the first episodes' "flashforward" and then at the end of episode four(or five) when it actually takes place...
So basically every episode consists of:
Main character meets cute, innocent, and kind girl... Then a few unimportant males die without anyone batting an eye before the girl dies jhust before the end of the episode, causing major emotional anxiety for the main character.
In the novels, volume 1 is the entire Aincrad storyline. It's basically prologue (which was episode 1), and then it skips to floor 70 where Asuna and Kirito actively form a party and goes from there.
After the success of stand-alone volume 1, he wrote a number of horrible side stories for the Aincrad setting that largely do nothing more than either introduce vapid one-dimensional female characters whose sole purpose is to fall in love with Kirito (just because he shows up), or devolve Asuna's character into a standard girly-girl archetype. Episodes 2-5 have all been sidestories, either from the abyssmal volume 2 or almost as terrible volume 8.
Ironically, there really aren't any other female players worth note in volume other than Asuna, because the premise of the game is that there's only a tiny population of female characters to begin with. It's just another measure of the side story failure that every single one of them tries to be as moe as possible with new female characters.
And do you know what the defination of terrible is? It's reading a story written in first person where the main character is a moe archetype, actually being in their head and knowing their insipid thoughts. Seriously, screw the novels and enjoy the anime, because the former is intolerably stupid and the latter is actually enjoyable (and oh so pretty).
Not really, the anime staff screwed up the order, in the originals ALL of this was included in a relatively unimportant side story volume, with more emphasis drawn on the official couple (asuna and kirito), and in actual battles.
all of these sides stories actually happen before the main story in other words they decided to go by the timeline made by the author instead of going by the way the novels were released
theres a big chance if this series gets a 2nd season it would only focus on ALO with SAO ending at the 1st season.
Kinda disappointed a lot was omitted including trying to contact grimrock and the meeting with heathcliffe similar to the early episodes
I'm still hoping maybe they just rearranged things and Heathcliff, among other things, will show up next ep.
I suspected she was the killer all along. Her "innocent witness" act didn't fool me. Especially with the way she casually shuffled suspicion off onto others.
But then she got killed.
Well played Yoruko, well played. You faked your death excellently.
they are probably sniping them from outside the town
How do you snipe with a knife?
Ask Archer
There are crossbows that launch machetes, you know that bro?
they watched COD videos.
http://forgifs.com/gallery/d/158792-3/Long-range-knife-stabbing.gif
If it's a game, it's possible.
the knife was at her back to begin with
Archer doesn't sniper knife though...he snipe with phantasm swords :P
Long Ranged attack from a PK zone into safe zone. sounds like a bug lol
attacks will be blocked by the criminal prevention code
you can attack in a safe zone but you won't be able to hurt anyone
You prepare for attack (concentrate) at field but don’t release attack.
Then you go to safe zone and release attack.
(because game prevents of concentrating in safe zones so you cant attack in zone ...)
Sniper balista?
Another author with resentment of women :P ?, But it was totally different from the last ep, when several fans complain about too much moe .. So far the anime shows are well balanced, not push for a particular genre ..
The crazy face reminded Higurashi :(
Oh wow, my guess was correct.
Lol, obviously you don't watch CSI that much huh?
Who watches 3D?
NO ONE was actually killed, and that includes Caynz.
No one was actually killed, that includes Caynz.
Well they respawn.. Mami won't respawn
girl with an amazing ass died. sad day for SOA. could of maybe squeezed some more time in for some service before offing her.
did surprise me to be honest. I didnt think she'd die in that room and i was on the 50 50 she did it. guess not.
Well, the moment she sat in the open window i knew she was doomed...
Well, the moment I started this episode i knew she was doomed.
Didn't watch enough slasher flicks!
Well, the moment I started this episode I knew not a single character would die because I already read the corresponding side-story and knew what the whole "murder"-plot was about and what Yoruko and her bros wanted to accomplish with it.
Well, she was doomed the moment she sat in the open window.
