Little Busters Anime Finally Unveiled

Legendarily long-awaited Key anime Little Busters! may have attracted as much attention for who it is not being animated by as for its actual announcement, but that has not stopped enthusiastic optimists from excitedly hailing the release of its first trailer with some anticipation.
The trailer, announcing TV broadcasts are to being in October:
Whether this will be able to placate hardcore KyoAni fans remains in doubt, although fortunately these same fans are not known for their long memories…

KyoAni, Clannad: Common route + One ending + After Story = 2 seasons
JC Staff, Little Busters: Common route + SIX ENDINGS + Refrain = 1 season?!?! What's wrong with them?
Just the fact that KyoAni isn't going to be working on this still depresses me. The animation is decent and all, but I know KyoAni could've done a far better job.

Did it write 1 season? Doesn't seems plausible to complete in a season.
I don't think they would put scenes from the second season (Refrain or Rin + Refrain) in the trailer for the first one.
Don't forget Saya... I have no idea how she's going to get fit in there unless it's an OVA.
Well, Saya's not in the trailer, as Sasami and Kanata aren't, so either they'll be in OAVs, or nothing.
At least Kengo and Masato look nice...
Let's hope KyoAni will have more time when key adapts Rewrite.

The art style for mio is kinda low quality... the other characters still looks fine. Only improvement from the VN's art style is masato and kengo tho=/
From the trailer, it looks like they are gonna go through all the routes :O
I AM familiar with the source material and the music at least at first glance seems a level worse. The animation? Well, the VN had none. But When I see Riki's face on that top poster, I'm kind of skeptic. And I have NO idea how they want to stick all the routes in one anime. But we'll see.
Well, the music is just another version of the usual VN's Little Busters!, but I hope that's not the actual OP, they cut out a part of the song which is a major hint to the secret of the world. Also, Kud's face and Komari's face really suck in that trailer. Anyway, if it's 26 episodes, they might do something like 10 episodes for common route, 2 episodes per normal route, 3 fo Rin's route and 3 for Refrain, or more for Refrain and less for common route...
I still say they should make it in two season parts. But hey, I'll take what I can get.

It doesn't look bad but its not impressive either. If I didn't know anything about Little Busters I would think its another generic school anime.

I haven't played either this or Clannad but Clannad After Story deeply impressed me and I might even say it was the best anime I ever watched, so I'm hyped for this one.

I thought it looked pretty damn good.
That persons to bust being a blind J.C. Staff hater who can't see anything past their own stupid bias to notice the decent animation.
I look Key to get depressed and develop unhealthy crushes on maligned characters, animation quality is not that important a factor.
I would be happy if that trailer actually HAD animation. More than half of it is made of scrolling static pictures. I like the design though.
"Decent" animation it is. But that's not what people expect when they watch something from Key. It needs to be far better then just decent. There's nothing wrong with J.C. Staff, but they do not have the right style for this type of show. My expectations compared to a few months back are now zero. As said though, it's better then not getting a show at all...perhaps.
I'm not very familiar with the source material, so I can't comment on the faithfulness of character designs, but the animation quality does seem a bit sub-par and generic. At least, I saw nothing in the trailer that would make me interested in watching the anime. Then again, this is just a trailer (OP?), and it's possible the anime itself could be better.
