Chinese Samaritan “Left To Drown” After Rescuing Boy

Chinese have been outraged by the case of a man who was left to drown by the family he saved, with the rescued boy’s mother saying his fate was nothing to do with them.
According to local media reports, a 27-year-old man out walking his dogs in China’s Hunan province came upon a family swimming in a local river who were in some difficulty as their 5-year-old son had been swept away.
Unable to rescue him themselves, they called for help, and the man responded by bravely leaping into the fast flowing river to rescue the boy and his family, aided by two other bystanders.
However, after rescuing the boy he himself was swept away and drowned to death.
A sense of tragedy soon turned to incensed outrage after it was reported that the boy’s family promptly left the scene as soon as their child was safe, leaving their rescuer to drown, and when questioned by locals they merely replied it was “none of their business.”
Chinese online, perhaps reminded of certain other recent events, wasted no time in venting their rage and condemning the “heartless” family.
Supposedly the family did suffer a change of heart and weepingly made a rather belated display of sorrow and gratitude at his funeral.

I don't think it's normal to give your life away for someone you do not know even if it's a child. What if the child becomes a bully, thief, drunkard, molester, murderer or some other fucked up piece of shit when he grows up? Better not take any risks especially if you're doing well in life.

I went to China to visit my relatives and i could go to SC no problem it wasn't blocked by any firewall. People need to give China a rest i don't get how people are so negative and troll online. I went to Japan and i had a wonderful time over there, everyone is super freindly. I got lost and asked this girl for help, she took me to the train station, brought my ticket and waited with me for the train.
Another thing i will add is this. We went out to dinner, me and my freind + her and her freind. Went to a nice small japanese place in a alley way. Anyways her freind had too much to drink and was totally wasted ( Punked into a plastic bag) She couldn't stand up so we helped her walk out to get a cab. An elderly japanese guy approached us and i thought he wanted to help as well. He ducked down, took a photo and walked off. I was thinking WTF, do people actually do that? Anyways her freind said it's kinda normal here. I am not here to judge but that is kinda selfish as well don't you think?
Yep those are my stories from my trip to Japan, i have plenty more to tell! I do love the country and will head back there again next June!
