Gintama is the only one of those I haven't seen (yet).
just take the time to get through the first 12 eps, then shit gets srs.
you should see it. there's a reason why it's immensely popular, and for a comedy anime to have over 200 episodes without much haters, you know it's good stuff.
I almost drop Gintama after watching first couple episode.. I endure my pain, and it worth it.
The part where Shimpachi become Mahou Shoujou is among the funniest anime moment for me.
Episode 20 will definitely make you ROFL.
I don't even know what to think of these lists anymore. Most of these shows haven't been around long enough to be considered "classics."

It have to be "old" or "a classic" to be entertaining?
I'm not saying all of them have to be old, but to me a classic is something that stands the test of time. Shows like Ghost in the Shell and Cowboy Bebop was great back then and is still great to watch now. A lot of these shows just came out within the past 2-3 years. Did you not read the paragraph under the pick that said "results in a list of classics absolutely nobody should allow themselves to miss out on…" I'm saying most of these lists that I see on here have disregarded older anime that is still great imo for a show that they just saw last week.

Japan sure loves zanny rankings.
Although there are a few shows I can think of that are more deserving to be on the list, I do have to say that the list is actually pretty good this time. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the shows on this list except for one.

Why do so many people dislike K-ON? It's a really good show. Why can't you go hate on harem anime or something?

to me, an anime is only SRSLY entertaining if you can watch it more than 3 times without getting bored.

People said no chance of Last Exile 2, and they're right. No Last Exile 2.
I'll pro bably be one of the few to chime in and say that Tiger and Bunny shouldn't be that high on the list; I honestly dropped the show around episode 12 and didn't see much reason to stick with it. Same goes for current shows like Eureka Seven AO (ep10), and Accel World (ep9) They just didn't sell it well enough for me personally.
Watch Eureka Seven AO till episode 12 before deciding to drop or not.
I couldn't watch Eureka Seven AO past episode 5, it was just such a disappointment compared to it's predecessor.
But if you like the predecessor, episode 12 will be the thing that hooks you BECAUSE you like the predecessor. Really. It's for all the mostalgia fans, AND it's good.
series that takes an entire season's worth of episodes to get hooked on isn't a good series then .___.
Predecessor took a while to get into for me...
if you haven't watched a series to the end how can you evaluate if it's good or not?
i have seen series that started to get bad, or started bad, but made extraordinary recoveries.
