Code Geass fans lucky enough to have attended the advance screening of Code Geass: Akito no Boukoku (“The Ruined Nation of Akito”) have reported not only that it was very good, but also that “she” is due to return in the second chapter…
Not only doe CC get back in on the action, Suzaku also apparently makes an appearance, although otherwise it does not seem the intent is merely to trot out old fan favourites rather than develop the new characters, as this seems to be the limit.
The latest preview (and for those who thought lazy or ill-advised “English” subtitles couldn’t get any worse – yes, “Code Geass: Akito the Exiled” is apparently official):

Just like how that idiot who made gundam seed tried to portray the oh so sympathetic orb as a model of how japanese view themselves, the hypocrisy and utter ignorance of japs rears its lips.
I would like to see this end the main character ass fucked and drowning in his own tears after the chinese federation and britannia empire rapes his 'innocent' japanese friends to death in front of the burning pyre and ruins of hypocritical japan, which should have happened only in much smaller scale and with out the chinese involved.
Shit like this makes people think japan should just be left at the mercy of china and korea to rape and degrade for years to come.
Why is Code Geass looking so gay in the trailer? And do I smell overused archetypes everywhere? WTF happened to everything that made Code Geass fun to watch?

The response was to the point numbnuts! Pushing the big Fucking RESET button on the very FIRST episode of the "nu" 2nd season pretty much gave me the impression that the company wanted more of the same. The "epic" ending was what? C.C. gets NOTHING from Lulu and she rolls away~~~ and he sacrifices his life soon after victory? Without taming the ENTIRE WORLD?!!! Biggest weak ARSE sauce of any ending for any show PERIOD

You missed the point completely. Lelouche wasn't planning on taking over the world. He was devoured with guilt for killing Euphemia, and to atone for this he came with a plan - to become the most hated enemy of entire world, and then he willingly let Suzaku defeat himself. As a result, his actions brought unity and peace among nations.
You thought we wanted to tame the world? Are you stupid?
The trailer only had a bunch of Nightmare's and slightly-pretty people running about believing that their lives were of any relevance to the series. Of course, they aren't.

Code Geass has always looked ultra gay. I remember I almost skip the series because of the gayness but glad that I didn't because it was a pretty good anime.
Oh, shut up. The trailer does not look any more "gay" than Code Geass did so you're just using biased judgment here.
The same thing goes for your complaining about archetypes. There were archetypes in Code Geass too, but it's pointless to criticize anything when you're not even talking about the show, only a trailer.
The art style is the same, so there's no change.
As for characters, how can you judge that based on a trailer alone?
I make use of a few things I managed to master over the years. First of all, I use my eyes to see what the trailer shows. Then I'm slowly picking up the pace and utilize my ears, to hear what is going on.
It's really difficult to do so I don't expect a normal person like yourself to understand the mechanisms that enable me to judge how gay the characters are based on this trailer alone.
Rolo was gay. He died, which was particulary satisfying to me. Now, apparantly the new hero is gay and he probably won't die. So I probably will hate this show unless/until this guy dies.
Remember the awesomeness that is code geass and how characters you didn't really liked just died? I have fond memories of euphemia killing of fourtysomethings. Sadly Nina didn't die a horrible death, which was a real turnoff. ;__;

The protagonist of the new Code Geass doesn't have anything like that. It's pretty clear they're pairing the protagonist with the blond girl, so your accusation is kinda hollow.

Regardless; after pausing the video at the credits. YUKANA (the voice actor for C.C.) isn't on it. Which means she a small tiny little bit character in this show that does small infinitesimal micro sized walk ins through-out the series.

Just imagine how epic it would be if Lelouche would return as more darker, more vicious version of himself. Not immediately, no. It should becom known later in the series that Lelouche have survived somehow (or revived), and have more power than ever. He then proceeds with his plan to create utopia, that is good and noble from one perspective, but involves some minor sacrifices. And some new bishounen, suffering from those sacrifeces, aquires Geass and gets involved in an epic battle to stop Lelouche because he thinks he's wrong. And then suddenly unbelivably powerful alien race appears, and Lelouche have to join forces with new hero to defeat them, and the action should definetely get beyond just one planet and into galactic scale, like Gurren Lagann. And suns and planets go BOOM, and.. and...
Sorry, I'll shut up now...

this is a side-story. Lelouch is still alive for this ova.
He is alive either way after R2, so doesn't really matter.
I wouldn't be surprised if characters from this end up contributing to a third Season. Imagine some important people here going underground and showing back up years later when Lelouche makes his return.........Or they could just go work at an orange orchard.
Lelouche was an overwhelming glorious bastard of a character.
A cameo from him would be epic... but if the series is trying to stand on its own merit, they might intentionally avoid that.
Him turning up unannounced would please the long time fans and steal the show, but that will easily confuse first timers who aren't down on his history.
My only complain is the people in charge of character design got lazy and instead of making a new character, spawned out a replica of Lelouch, except with blue eyes and long hair.
But then again, no other male character can really be as sexy as Lelouch was....
